South-facing views of Cadillac Mountain range, Acadia National Park, active Bar Harbor waterfront, Porcupine Islands chain, gorgeous sunrise and moonrise views over the North Atlantic beyond.
Privacy ensured by a private and posted neighborhood road (Lookout Point Road), with a driveway almost 1,000' in length, in a quiet and historic and distinguished neighborhood (Hulls Cove).
Located within proximate view of the anchorage for the world's most famous cruise ships (Queen Elizabeth II, Queen Mary) and Bar Harbor's mansion-studded shoreline. Also located within hailing distance of working lobster boats.
The Bar Harbor Yacht Club is located on opposite shore of Hulls Cove. The beach immediately in front of the house offers instantly accessible kayaking; on-request mooring available for small and large boats.
Located within 1 mile of Reception area for 30,000-acre Acadia National Park, inclusive of its 100 miles of walking trails, bicycling paths, and mountain climbing routes leading to lakes and ponds and mountain vistas. (See below).
Operated for 16 years as a fully-equipped, continuously renovated, luxury seasonal rental property. Leased to discriminating individuals and families and professional groups from throughout the US and abroad, for stays of 1 week or longer, primarily during May - October, with caretaker and housekeeper available.
