This home has beautiful ocean views, with 4 bedrooms, new king/queen mattresses and bedding, 2 1/2 baths, granite kitchen, new high end appliances, flat screen TV, internet, dishwasher, washer/dryer, outdoor shower and nice yard with all the amenities of home located on a quiet lane that leads to a private beach- three houses away from beach. Historic Barnstable village is just a short walk away with many shops, art galleries, museums and restaurants. Barnstable Marina is a block away with whale watching and deep sea fishing charters available or just watch as the locals unload their 'catch of the day'.
The crowds of summer are gone, and the weather is beautiful. It's harvest season, go to a seaside festival, visit a cranberry bog, dig for oysters and clams in the tidal flats, enjoy the natural beauty and the changing leaves or pick the perfect pumpkin at the nearby organic farm. Fall is the perfect time to visit the Cape!
Area Information
There are many fine restaurants close by, you can walk from the house and dine harbor side at the Matakeese Wharf, star gaze from the Barnstable Tavern’s outside patio or enjoy fresh local seafood at The Dolphin Restaurant. In walking distance you have it all- from haute cuisine to a clam shack called the Osterville Fish with the best lobster and fried clams on Cape Cod.
There is a golf course, walking & biking trails, railroad excursions all nearby. There is wonderful summer theatre at the Dennis playhouse along 6A or movie theatres nearby at the Cape Cod Mall. The Melody Tent in Hyannis offers a variety of concerts throughout the summer. Feel free to explore the Cape on the biking trail, venture to Provincetown and the National Seashore beaches, go to a seaside festival or just relax at the beach all day with a book and return to your comfortable vacation home by the sea.

Beautiful Barnstable at Spring Break
April 19, 2012
We spent our spring break this year at this lovely house in Barnstable, Cape Cod. There were 8 of us in the house and there was plenty of room for us all. The furnishings and decor are beautiful and in keeping with a getaway at the beach. The beach is literally steps away, as is the marina, the very quaint village, which has an amazing little village market, great tavern and countless little interesting shops. It is a quick drive to Hyannis and the surrounding towns. It was always nice to come home to the house and relax. It has all the amenities you need, although is a little lacking in storage, and a lot of the homeowners clothes etc are still in place. All in all I would recommend this peaceful getaway at the Cape.

August 15, 2011
A wonderful beach house with lots of room for 2 families, close to a private beach, centrally located. House was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We had a wonderful stay!
