Description of the Basalt vacation home rental
Beautiful 3 bd 3 ba home located lakeside, 22 miles from Aspen in the Roaring Fork Valley. Large deck, with fabulous views,on the upper level accessed from the master bedroom or the dining room. Large patio on the ground level with hot tub. Upgraded kitchen with marble counter tops and new appliances. Enjoy the walking/biking paths from the back yard which run around the lake and along the stream. The park like setting, includes a Volley ball court, soccer field and children's play ground. The lake offers, catch & release fishing (with license), swimming, and boating (row boats, kayaks, small sail boat or other small boats allowed).
The master bedroom has king sized bed & large private bath, 2 smaller bedrooms also located on the upper level. Office and small den with large screen TV located on the lower level.
Area Description
The home is located in Blue Lake subdivision 22 miles from Aspen. The area has several rivers that are a fisherman's paradise. Mt Sopris which can be seen from the upper level from is nearly 13,000 ft and offer many hiking opportunities as well as does Aspen's Maroon Bells. Further down the valley is the resort town of Glenwood Springs.
