Description of the Bass Harbor vacation cottage rental

This stunning waterfront cottage has two bedrooms, 1-1/2 Baths and an open floor plan for the kitchen and sitting area. All amenities are provided (towels, linens and cookware). We also offer air conditioning for those few days of dreadful heat that we have here in Maine. We also have a cozy gas fireplace for those chilly nights in the fall months. It also features a full deck across the front for your leisure, a beautiful view of Bass Harbor and the adjacent small fishing village of Bernard.

Area Description

While you are in our area, you are able to visit Bass Harbor Lighthouse (a fully automated light today, 1/4 of a mile from the cottage), Southwest Harbor's quaint shops, wonderful restaurants and amazing views (3 miles), prestigious Northeast Harbor (approximately 15 miles), Seal Harbor's beautiful sand beach (19 miles). Bar Harbor or as some of the early settlers here on Mount Desert Island know it, The Town of Eden (15 miles). You are approximately 20 minutes to the Ferry Terminal to Nova Scotia in Bar Harbor. And the most popular attraction here on our island that everyone comes to see is Acadia National Park just minutes away. Very close by in the town of Ellsworth, we have an LL Bean Factory Outlet Store that is a popular place to shop. Additional photos are available upon request. Payments by Paypal are preferred.
