Perfect

We are french living in Quebec and wanted to test the spirit of the Maine's coast. This was the perfect place to be for that! The house is charming, all in wood, and we particularly loved the gentle sea breeze in the poarch. The owner was very helpfull too, providing us all the information needed. I highly recommand this place!

Family Vacation

We just got back from a week at this wonderful cottage. It was a gorgeous week full of sunshine and wonderful memories made with our family. The cottage is perfect - clean, comfortable, fully stocked with all the essentials to make a wonderful meal and the screened in porch is amazing. We plan to visit again next year - we all just loved it!!

We stayed 2 weeks in this wonderful, comfortable, homey, cabin in the woods & enjoyed every moment! So private and quiet and my kids absolutely loved having their own large rooms. My husband lived in the screened in sun room overlooking the trees and water .... he loved it so much! It really wasn't a cottage ... very large and lots of room for everyone!! We have been in cottages where you were always bumping into each other ... not the case here ... tons of room!! Loved the cute country roads to get there and the beaches were beautiful!!! Popham beach was around 30 minutes away and soooo worth it ... spent many afternoons there! The cabin had absolutely everything you could ever need ... I always travel with my own main cooking & eating utensils but you sure didn't need that here! They had everything and more!! Everything was very clean and lots of fresh towels etc. We spent most evenings in the big private wooded yard with a big bonfire! My son loved the woods and spent many hours looking for little frogs & salamanders .... lots of hermit crabs and snails along coast also in front of cabin. Shopping, restaurants, movie theatre, book store etc. all not far and a nice drive on cute country roads. We really enjoyed our stay and hated to leave and will definitely return one day soon!!

Lowed the space and the location. With four adults and two children, one bath became an issue for us. However, everything else was delightful. We had good directions to the cottage and everything was as described in the advertisement and the description sent by the owner.

What a great cottage and so clean and roomy. We had a 30year reunion just the 4 girls all in from out of state. We could not get over all the beauty and comforts of the cottage. We were without nothing. The cottage provided everything. We are definitely going to return and tell all about this wonderful place. Great House!

This house had 4 bedrooms and 1 full bath. A nice small yard for the kids to play, plenty of games and books. You can hear the water at night from the master bedroom. Very peaceful setting. Our boys loved the outdoor fire pit! House was very nice, clean and had lots of charm. House also had all linens, soap, and other extras. Great house for the price!

All About Maine.....

West Bath, Maine is a great location, you're in the heart of all the things one might want to do while staying in the area. Our lodging was a short ride to Popham State Park which has the nicest beaches we've seen so far in Maine. The town of Bath has a lot to see and do, lots of fun stores a maritime museum, a Navy ship yard and much more Bath near Freeport, Wiscasset and Damarescotta. If you like flea markets, antiquing, beaches, farmer's markets, good restaurants, quaint movie theaters, sea kyacking, white water rafting and fishing this is the spot!The house had plenty of space, 4 bedrooms and a bath upstairs and a kitchen, dining room, living room and screened porch, downstairs. There is a small outdoor deck and a fire pit for those cooler evenings The area is very quiet at night and the display of stars is amazing. On a really clear night, it is not unusual to see shooting stars and the Milky Way. The house was well apointed, lots of cooking utensils for those who like to cook on holiday. We found great restaurants in the area which made this a true vacation for us. Mae's in Bath, the Muscongus Bay Lobster Pound in Round Pond are our favorites. This is our fifth consecutive trip to Maine and we are already thinking about next summer's trip.
