nice place

This house was very clean, enough room to move. The kitchen is so huge. We had everything there that we needed. Hot Tub was an added bonus. The place is not far from beaches and area attractions. We went there for the Maine Lobster Fest and that was an hour away. Now the Lobster Fest was nothing to rave about. Cons: I would of liked to have a fire pit in the back yard. We could not sit out for long there was massive amount of mosquito's. I guess it's because we are near a river and in a wooded area.

Quiet Get-Away

We enjoyed a very quiet get-away in Arrowsic. As advertised, the house has a view of the Kennebec River, but no access to any body of water. However, it is only 15 minutes from Reid State Park, one of the nicest beaches in Maine. Public boat launches are also available in the area. The towns of Bath, Woolwich and nearby Wiscasset offer great food, shopping and local charm. The house is well kept with an indoor hot tub, a large fireplace, and a lovely kitchen. With no cable television or Internet connection, it is a great location for quietly relaxing activities. A great place to escape to without having to go far from the beaten path.
