We enjoyed our visit to Waveland/Bay St Louis. The house location was great. Just a short walk to the beach. The yard is huge and we enjoyed how quiet the house was in the mornings! Fred the owner was very helpful and the house was very clean and ready when we walked in. We had a great week. Thank you for sharing your house!

Great location; felt like home but near the beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our "stay in the bay" and found this vacation home to be very reasonably priced with all of the comforts of home. Great location. Very kind owner who is easy to work with. Our small dog even came along with no complications. Our young son enjoyed discovering all of the secret hiding places this 1800's home has in it.

The house and area were great; but the fishing was lousy. Good location for beach walkers or casino goers. we had a really good time though and had no complaints other than no fish. ( lol ) would Highly recommend Renting from this lady as she went the extra mile to accommodate us.

Just what I needed

The house was lovely. My dogs really enjoyed the huge yard and we often spent time on the deck. This is in a well-established neighborhood, but very close to the beach and to restaurants, shopping, etc. It was nice and quiet, which was exactly what I was looking for.

We really enjoyed our time at this little cottage. Very relaxing, and close to the beach. We brought our dog, who had a great time running the back yard and on the beach. Hope to return to MS Gulf Coast this fall.

I was a little worried at first not knowing what to expect renting someones home for the weekend, but I was suprised, we felt right at home. It was about 1/2 mile from the beach we were able to come back to the house to eat lunch and whatever we needed to do because it was so close. We also brought our dog with us, the yard was dog freindly just like the add said. There was no internet service which was fine with me it alowed us to have alot more family time. We were in a quiet area no one bothered us. We really enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this house to anyone. I plan on going back in a few months.

Great time in the Fulf

We weren't sure what we were getting into , renting a house smack dab where Katrina came ashore, but we were pleasantly surprised. The house was easy to find, and a perfect fit for our family. The boys immediately claimed the beds on the second floor, and our 3-year old staked out the front bedroom and said she wanted to stay forever. The house is over 100 years old, and is surrounded by trees and flowers, with a front porch that I wish we had on our own house. There is a fireplace for those nights that get chilly, and a big backyard with a fire-pit for sitting up late. The beach down the street goes on for miles, and New Orleans is only a 45 minute drive away. We had a great time, and we are already planning our next trip back.

Great Little Getaway

A fabulous place to escape the hussle and bustle and relax! This charming home, with lots of character, was much larger than we expected with two bedrooms downstairs and another upstairs. The home is located a short distance from the beach as well as a grand new pier with superb fishing! Many attractions are just a quick drive away! We can’t wait to go back!

We found the home well suited to our needs. Great older home with lots of character. High ceilings and all the amenities you would want. We especially enjoyed to wood burning fireplace in the kitchen, as the weather was quite cold. Only 40 minutes from New Orleans and a better deal than all the LA hotels!

This house is in a great location to getaway for a few days. It is centrally located to the beach, restaurants, and wal-mart. Both porches, front and back are great places to sit and relax. There is also a swing on the side underneath lucious folage, great for drinking coffee in the morning. The house is old, but unique in many ways and has a sense of home that you won't get from staying in a hotel. There is also an outside shower for getting the sand off the kids from the beach. My only issue was that the owner had alot of his stuff out and the kids would touch things that I didn't want them to, but we were the first to stay and at short notice. The price was also very reasonable especially for 4th of July weekend. We had a blast!!!
