The Chalet @ Snow Meadows is one of several exceptional homes providing lodging to groups of all sizes that come to Utah's Beautiful Bear Lake to relax and enjoy all the recreational opportunities the area provides. The Chalet is fully furnished and has 7 Bedrooms and 4.5 Bathrooms, a large room just for the Spa, a Master Bedroom that passes as a honeymoon or anniversary suite, and a kitchen that has all you should need for cooking your favorite gourmet meals. Better yet, use our BBQ grill to cook up a feast for your group. Each of our rooms has been decorated to a different theme, and you will appreciate the small amenities and "extra touches" that we supply in an attempt to spoil our guests. The property is licensed to sleep 24 with children under three not in the count. We offer our guests a 5-star experience which could include (on special request): A shuttle from Logan, Utah; Limousine service; catered meals; nightly entertainment; etc. We are family friendly and specialize in family reunions, weddings and honeymoons, etc. We cannot allow pets or smoking as this is our second home, and we have family members who are allergic.

Area Description

Bear Lake is a large scenic lake often called the "Caribbean of the Rockies" for its intense turquoise blue water. As visitors catch their first glimpse of the lake, they marvel at its color and wonder what makes the lake so blue. Sitting on one of its many white, sandy beaches, you can imagine yourself on your own little island.

The Bear Lake valley enjoys all four of nature's seasons; spring, summer autumn and winter. Enjoy a number of recreational and cultural activities including festivals and the famous Pickleville Playhouse. Jet ski across the turquoise water. Sail off into the sunset. Hunt for the elusive mule deer, awesome moose or the majestic rocky mountain elk. Troll for huge mackinaw or cutthroat trout in Bear Lake or fly fish for smaller brook and rainbow trout in the many local mountain streams. Experience the rush of snowmobiling. Snow ski at two local ski resorts or enjoy the splendor of cross-country skiing. Spend your vacation at Bear Lake!

Garden City is a small country town that provides the basic services but is quiet and peaceful. If you can arrange to experience Raspberry Days at Bear Lake, you won't forget the fun you had at the Craft Fair or the fresh raspberry shakes made with homemade ice cream! This is the ideal place to gather your family for that annual reunion, wedding or anniversary, company retreat, girls weekend away, quilting group gathering, etc. You will want to come back again!

Garden City is a good stopping place on your way North to Yellowstone or Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Going South you are only 40-45 minutes from Logan, Utah, and 185 miles from Salt Lake City (1 1/2 hours). But why go anywhere else? Just stay and relax! There are always interesting things to see and do at Bear Lake. Sometimes just enjoying the peace and quiet of the high country is enough.
