The walk to the nearest shopping and dining is about 20 minutes. The drive to the nearest shopping and dining is 5 minutes.

You can see a small lake from the unit. The lake is on a Par-3 golf course and next to the outdoor rollerblade/hockey rink, and children's play area with swings, jungle gym, etc.

The drive to Beaver Creek Ski Resort is 5 minutes, to Vail is 10 minutes. There is a free bus route about a 10 minute walk away. From there, the bus will take you to Vail, Beaver Creek, Keystone, or Breckenridge. You can pre-purchase discounted lift tickets in Denver at King Soopers grocery store or at Gart Brothers or Christy Sports sports stores in Denver. You can also get ski and snowboard rentals at those places, but is may be more convenient to rent at the Christy Sports in Avon or Vail.

The golf course is Eagle Vail 18-hole champion golf course. You can walk to the driving range in less than 5 minutes and a shuttle takes you to the clubhouse in less than 5 minutes. The course is wonderful. There is also a par 3 golf course right out the front door.

Eagle County Airport is the nearest airport which is 20 minutes away. It will take about 2-2.5 hours to drive from Denver International Airport to Vail depending on the weather, traffic, and road conditions.
