The house is inviting and romantic from the log 4-posted bed with goose-down quilts and the best linens to the leather sofas and antique accessories. Snuggle up in front of the wood-burning fireplace or sit in the outdoor hot tub and admire the ambiance of the surrounding landscaping.
The inside is inviting from the moment you enter the door and see the hardwood floors with beautiful rugs, deer head hung above the mountain stone stacked fireplace, and the best quality of furniture. As you walk around there is a view of the wonderful mountain forest with banks of ferns and moss and rhododendrons blooming. Each feature has been carefully chosen and the presentation is simply elegant. This is the cabin you will wish was your mountain home. There are two bedrooms, each with incredible character and charm. The upstairs bedroom has a cathederal ceiling covered with beautiful tongue and groove pine and hand-hewn beams. The view from that room is of the lush mountain flora which matches the lushness of the accomadations. Adjoining this room is the loft with an additional day bed for the extra guest or child. The loft also has its own TV and GameCube for the children. Outside is an extremely private property surrounded by 2 acres of lush trees. The wrap around deck with country swing looking out on the lawn and surrounding beautifully landscaped grounds is accompanied by a set of wonderful oversized rocking chairs to sit on the deck and relax. Walk to the opposite side of the house and there is a brand new 6 person hot tub just waiting for you to relax or sit and look at the beautiful night sky after a tiring day of hiking or skiing.
