Wonderful location and host

We stayed for a week as Jerry's guests and were genuinely sad when we left -- not just because vacation was ending, but because we knew we'd miss Jerry and his sweet dog, Lady. The property is beautiful; the location is central to so many great places; and the boat ran perfectly. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Owner's reply:

Thanks for your kind words. Jerry and Lady told me great things about you also.

Lots of fun at the lake

We were so very happy with our host, treated us like family, didn't want for anything the entire week. Cabin was just what we were expecting and very clean. The location gave us the quiet of being in the woods and the convenience of being on the lake, we never expected the negative thing of not being right on the water would turn out to be such a positive. Once again our special thanks to Shirley and Jerry. We will be calling soon to book next year.

Great fishinouse were exactly and atmosphere

The property and the house were exactly what I was looking for. My reason for the trip was fishing and that was great also. The owners are very friendly people.

Owner Supplied Testimonials

Time to think about spring fishing. The fish have hid under the ice all winter and should be fat, sassy and ready to bite.

The summer of 2013 has flown by. We would like to thank all the people that have stayed with us as we have had the most wonderful guests that came to the north woods stay at Loons Nest. Thanks everyone.

Fall fishing is starting to pick up. Come enjoy the north woods.
