You'll never want to leave this gorgeous, secluded and totally private architect-designed timber-peg home on 31 acres, with stunning mountain views and a beautiful swimming pond. Every season is magical, with southern light filling the house at all times. Fall foliage is amazing. Spring brings the nesting birds and cool breezes. Summer is host to a family of red foxes that lives on the property, and beautiful perennial flowers. And winter coats the entire landscape in white, highlighting the deer that pass through at dusk. The property sits far off the road, which is only travelled by others who live in this valley, making it very peaceful and quiet. The house features cathedral ceilings, an upstairs work and reading loft, and a large stone and stucco fireplace as a main focal point in the living room. Sliding glass doors lead to the outside deck from the living room as well as from the master bedroom. Large windows all around make you part of the outdoors all day long. Master BR: King bed. 2nd BR: King bed. 3rd BR: Queen bed. All very tastefully decorated. Master Bathroom has a jacuzzi tub. Living room has a massage chair.

The kitchen is very large and open, with all major appliances including washer/dryer, and dishwasher. Pick up your groceries on your way up or at the farmer's markets on Route 28, because you'll never want to leave once you arrive at this magical and romantic destination. If you do want to go out to eat, there are several nice establishments within a ten-fifteen minute drive, including the Peekamoose Restaurant and Tap Room.

The property is only 130 miles from the George Washington Bridge so, if you leave NYC at the right time of day, it only takes a little more than two hours to reach paradise.

• Other Fees: Cleaning Fee: $100 cash to be left for crew upon departure We love dogs and are dog-friendly; in lieu of additional dog deposits, all rentals with dogs must pay an additional $150.00 cleaning fee. To motivate us to give up our home for the big holidays, and because it is so highly requested, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years have a four-night minimum or premium rate. No exceptions.
