This is a beautiful waterfront property on the North East side of Lake Whatcom. Accommodates 8-10 in 4 bedrooms/3 bathrooms There are spacious decks and patios galore as well as plenty of grassy areas, front and back, for relaxing, entertaining, and recreation. The lake is excellent for swimming and watersports in late spring and throughout the summer. Kayaking is a year-round activity in Bellingham.

NorthShore Lake House is an ideal venue for family reunions, celebrations, summer recreation vacations, cozy winter getaways, Mt. Baker ski vacations and corporate retreats.

Area Information

This beautiful property is literally "at the end of road" on the south east shore of Lake Whatcom. The Lake Whatcom Park Hertz trail system starts just a few yards away from the front door with over 3 miles of trail, one way, skirting Lake Whatcom. At the one-mile marker, you will find a beach area and an incredible waterfall. There are places to rest, picnic or swim,you can even find a few rope swings for the daring!

Fall stay on the lake.

Spent a three day weekend with 8 family members as a family reunion weekend. Found all the amenities as advertised, the home is very well kept and very clean. The kitchen was stocked with all the equipment that you could need for preparing meals, snacks, etc. The views to the west overlooking the lake and private shoreline are wonderful !! Very quiet setting at this point on the lake ...... would recommend this property rental to friends. Hope to return again......

I looked at a lot of places near bellingham for our family to get together and spend a few days. We chose this lake house for the view of the lake and the foothills in the distance according to pictures online, as well as the open comfortable house. We chose well! Whether sunny or cloudy, it is beautiful. The park trail is great for walking or biking and feels as though it was placed for the exclusive enjoyment of this house and it's renters. We found great places to swim from the trail... even in October, though I do recommend wetsuits! I feel fortunate to have found this place and look forward to staying again,

Perfect Lakeside Living

We rented from June 18 to July 18 and easily made this our summer home. Easy to accomadate our various groups of family and friends that came for shorter stays. Everyone loved it. Lots of room inside for stormy/rainy days for group games with always a nice quiet space found to read or rest. The neighbors were friendly and included an entertaining otter and a pair of loons nested in the nearby bay. The convenience of a boat lift and dock made boat morrage easy and worry free when the lake got rough. When we win the lottery we will be buying a place just like this one.

This home offers every comfort for a stupendous vacation! The kitchen is completely outfitted, the beds are comfy, the bedding luxurious. You won't believe the property manager's attention to detail. She knows just how to make each space completely welcoming, right down to the candlelight. The views from nearly every room in the house are of pure Northwest beauty and unimproved lake shore and mountains. The hiking trail begins just steps from the front door. Mountain bikes and a kayak are available. There truly is something for everyone! You won't be sorry you chose this getaway.
