Holiday hang out

January 1, 2013

This place worked out fine for us. It was spacious and very clean. The only drawback was that we didn't have heat for the first 2 days; a switch in the garage turned it on. Who knew! They even had a decorated Christmas tree-nice touch!

Barkley Village III

August 27, 2012

We had a great stay and were very happy with the house. It was very hot the first couple of days and we had to buy a couple fans but thats"weather", roll with it. Being from out of town/state we were a little confused as to how the recycling worked and when the trash pick up was. We filled the one trash barrel pretty fast. Brief instructions would have helped but these things are minor and did not deter from our stay. Loved the wild berries. So long 'til next time.

Cozy place and great location

June 20, 2012

The townhouse is very cozy and homey. The fireplace is wonderful to take the chill out of the room in the morning and evening. The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed our stay very much. It was just what we were looking for. Just across the street is an entrance to the walking path. It is fantastic and so scenic with the beautiful tall pine trees. You feel like you are in the middle of the woods and not still in the city. There are openings to get off of the path at different streets and neighborhoods, but it goes all the way to Whatcom falls and the lake. A very nice walk.

All the comforts of home!

June 12, 2012

From being spotlessly clean, spacious, attractively decorated and having a fully equipped kitchen, and a washer and dryer, we were nothing but impressed with this unit. The table was even set for dinner! The only improvement I would recommend would be better pillows on the beds. We have family in Bellingham and will definitely try to stay at Barkley Vi9lliage on each return.

Relaxing in comfort in Bellingham

May 23, 2012

We just spent 5 days in the guesthouse 3, in the Barkley village neighborhood. It is very nice the & the area is pretty quiet, the railroad trail is easy to access. We had a very wonderfull time, the beds were very comfortable, the towels all extra plush, it came with a very nice kitchen. We will rent here again. I recommend bringing a bike, also watcom falls park is really close. Only a few minutes away from lots of parks & shopping. You could easily sleep six people, we only had four and was very roomy.

Very nice place

December 12, 2011

This property worked out perfectly for my wife, son (2 years old) and me on a recent trip to visit my wife's family in Bellingham. Very clean, spacious, nicely decorated and well stocked with everything needed for comfort and convenience. Cable and wi fi was a nice feature, too. Good location--easy access to I-5, downtown, grocery, etc. We ran on the rail trail in the mornings up to Whatcom Falls Park. Barbara was great and very easy to work with. We will definitely seek to stay here again the future.

A Comfortable Get Away

August 23, 2011

This home has everything you need for a great Bellingham experience. It is completely set up for cooking, entertaining or just relaxing. It is large and beautifully decorated. There is a very nice hiking trail just footsteps from the front door. The place is conveniently located within easy walking distance of shopping areas and you can get anywhere in Bellingham within minutes. The neighborhood is very nice. I heartily recommend this home if you are looking for a nice, clean, comfortable place to stay in Bellingham.
