Description of the Bend vacation condo rental

Location Location Location! We are designated as the resort's luxury 2 bedroom condo (2 King beds) and located on Century Drive, just minutes from charming downtown Bend and world class skiing at Mt. Bachelor. Typically 300 days of sunshine per year! Everything in our unit is brand new as of Sept. 2007. Hike, mountain bike, snowshoe, or cross country ski right from your condo door into the Deschutes National Forest. Walk miniutes to the Deschutes river for nature trails and fishing. Golf next door at Widgi Creek or at one of the many other courses in the area. There are 2 heated swimming pools, 1 heated kiddie pool, and 3 hot tubs available year round with ice skating in the winter and roller skating in the summer. Restaurants, bar, convenience store, video game arcade, and activity center (white water rafting, horseback riding, etc.) will fill your sunny days. Free internet and use of the business center included.

This is the luxury condo on the property and our prices reflect this. Booking our specific unit from the resort directly starts at $209 in the off season ($289 high). Beware of what you are renting if you call directly and rent a different unit. The quality is not the same owner to owner.

This unit was completely remodeled from head to toe and the work was completed at the end of August 2007. Many of the staff at the resort have told us that this is the nicest unit in the whole resort. The wedding and event coordinator at the resort requests this unit first when booking her events.

Please note that this unit is on the top floor of the building and you will need to walk up 4 flights of stairs. Elevators are not on the property.

Area Description

Central Oregon is known for mild climate and year rouind recreational opportunities. It is a unique mix of terrains; high altitude deserts, majestic mountains, and lakes and rivers scattered throughout the entire region. This blend of fine weather and landscapes create fun ways for you to indulge in a wide variety of interests without traveling too far from your resort accommodations. The "old downtown" core is full of restaurants and art galleries. We are the closest accommodations to the Mt. Bachelor Ski Resort Lodge. Its 300 inches of annual snow, seventy manicured trails, and state of the art lift system has earned it the reputation of a world class ski mountain. The Cross Country Center ensures some spectacular Nordic Skiing, & the young at heart can enjoy the tubing hill. The lower Deschutes is known for large trout & energetic steelhead. Wade on its riverbanks or hire a guide for a once in a lifetime floating expedition. Also, you can experience the finest in white water rafting.

My husband and I had a great time in Bend staying at 7th Mt. Our condo had a view of the snow covered trees. It was so close to Mt. Bachelor that driving was easy, & the snow park where we skate skied was less than 10mins away. The pool & hot tub, restaurant were all top notch. Great spot, nice & quiet!

I had a wonderful time staying at this rental and highly recommend it to anyone vacationing in Central Oregon. The unit itself is lovely. It has a warm and comfortable ambiance with views looking out to the forest. The resort is easy to find and an easy distance to either the mountains for skiing or going into town.
