Description of the Bend vacation cottage rental

This vintage cottage, an original mill house, is full of character and charm and was built in 1919. It was decorated to make visitors feel cozy and at home!
MOST CONVENIENT LOCATION, BETWEEN DOWNTOWN AND THE FASHIONABLE OLD MILL SHOPPING DISTRICT. Two coffee shops/restaurants within walking distance, as well as bookstore, yoga facility, and wine shop. McMenamins (a huge attraction) is just 4/10 of a mile. It covers an entire block and has 2 restaurants, bars, movie theater, live music, pool and Turkish baths.

Great room has seating for 10. Fully stocked kitchen, 2 bedrooms, full bath.
Writing desk area. Cool basement downstairs for playing cards/smoking cigars.
Sunny music/reading/laundry room. House stays cool even on the hottest days because walls are made of lathe & plaster.

If you have a larger group coming in, there is a new 25' camper in back yard that can accommodate 4 more guests (additional fee) Pictures on request.

Cable/internet not hoked up yet. Can possibly provide upon request, depending on length of stay. Pets upon approval with separate deposit. $50. refundable cleaning fee.

Area Description

The cottage is located in The Old Town Historic District, which is considered the most convenient location in Bend. It is the old fashioned type of neighborhood where families sit on the porch in the evenings and ride bikes around the area with their children. Many people walking to nearby attractions.
Downtown is just a few blocks away, as well as the Old Mill District, which has many shops, restaurants, concerts and movie theaters. Rent a kayak at the Old Mill and get into the Deschutes River!

Go onto mapquest or other maps, put in cottage address and you'll see how many attractions are close by!!
