We were so thrilled to arrive exhausted to this immaculate, well furnished and stocked house! Every detail was so thoughtful - well stocked bathroom, soaps, laundry, large fenced yard, even water bowls for the dogs! Tastfully furnished; and a nice big, well organized kitchen! Around the corner to the river and lovely park, and two blocks in the other direction to the road taking you everywhere. Very quiet neighborhood with hardly any traffic. This is the perfect little house to stay in Bend!

Our stay at the "Refugio" couldn't have been better. It was a hassle-free, relaxing getaway. The decor is fantastic, our bed was by far the most comfortable of any place I have ever stayed outside of my own home, and the location is right in between all the interesting spots in Bend. The house was well-equipped for the guest, from kitchen gadgets to books & movies. It was bitterly cold while in Bend during our stay, and it was easy to want to stay inside and curl up by the fire. Since the house had everything we needed (save groceries), that's pretty much what we did! Oh, and the owners are WONDERFUL. I would recommend the Refugio to anyone staying in Bend, be it for a weekend or a month.
