Description of the Bethel vacation chalet rental

This chalet is nestled in the mountains of Western Maine, above the lift for Mt. Abram family resort in Greenwood, and only minutes to Sunday River. There are two bedrooms, one is an open air loft with a queen bed and a futon, the second bedroom comfortably sleeps 2 on the main level. Relax in the rich Italian leather sofa and love seat while you watch your favorite DVD or VHS, or have a family game night. The open kitchen/dining room layout invites conversation and entertaining. Appliances include a ceramic top stove, full size refrigerator, washer & dryer, coffee maker, toaster, & a blender. Everything is provided for you, just bring your skis, snowboards, snowshoes, golf clubs, swimsuits, mountain bikes, hiking boots, kayaks, well, you get the picture!

Whether you are visiting in the spring, summer, fall or winter there is an activity available in the Bethel area for every age and ability.

 Great place for family ski trip, February 25, 2008

This chalet had plenty of room to sleep our family of four very comfortably, and easily could have have accomodated extra people if we had them. The place is very clean, and comes equipped with everything you'll need....pots and pans, towels, sheets, soap, shampoo, etc. It also has washer and dryer. It is very close (about a 2 min drive)to Mt. Abram, which is a great mouintain to learn to ski on and is also less crowded than Sunday River, which is about 20 minutes away. There are many dining options just a short drive away in Bethel. Our family really enjoyed our stay in this chalet and plan to return next winter.

We stayed over the long holiday weekend. Accomidations were very clean, nicely decorated and within a 15 min drive to the location we were visiting. It was also in close proximity to the ski mountain. It is a great place for smaller families with the two bed rooms and fold out futton. I would highly reccomend it for anyone visiting or planing on skiing Mt Abram or Sunday River. The rate was very reasonalble as well.
