Salem in October, October 18, 2009
By Elysse & Mark (Philadelphia, PA)
If you are looking for a wonderful little home away from home and hospitality from a wonderful person, this is the place for you. We came to Beverly in October with the hopes of having a nice Halloween experience and we had that plus more! The owner gave us wonderful tips about local places worth visiting and we were pleased with every last recommendation. We would not have had nearly as great of a trip had we stayed anywhere else. We are looking forward to come back in the Summer to experience this wonderful little place in different weather! Thank you so much. :)

 A charming property, October 16, 2009
By jane trotman (South London, UK)
The apartment is very cosy and pretty. It is close to all amenities and is,as they say, 'just over the bridge to Salem'!It is in a quiet area despite being so close to a main road - and the market is a very short walk away. Aurelia and her husband were very welcoming and helpful when it came to directions, places to visit, etc. The Salem ferry is about 10 minutes away by car. We would recommend it as a handy base for sightseeing around the area. We had a very relaxing week in the apartment, despite the unexpected power cut!

 Fantastic, September 13, 2009
By Yisa F. (New York, NY USA)
Great place in a great location! Beaches, parks, restaurants, a train station, and shops are all in walking distance. The train into boston is only about 20/30 minutes! As college students, we found the price of the rental to be very reasonable and we found the area to be a good break from the hustle and bustle of campus life. The homeowners are two of the most hospitable, fun, intelligent, and helpful people we have ever met. We would rent out this place again in a heartbeat!

Home away from Home, August 31, 2009
By Don & Mike (Sarasota Florida)
Was well worth the price and we were very satisfied of the location. Just minutes from downtown Salem and surrounding points of interest. We felt very comfortable and the couple who runs the place is very knowledgeable of place to eat and visit. Thank you so much for making our stay a pleasant experience.

Home away from home!, May 30, 2009
By Dr. Annalyssa Gypsy Murphy (West Pubnico, Nova Scotia)
We stayed in late April-May 2009 for 10 days before we headed to our vacation home in Nova Scotia for the summer. It was my husband and myself and our two daughers and it was cozy but lovely! The hostess was so nice and the place was charming and had all that you would need! Great location too! AND when we left my husband's wedding ring behind she called us to let us know she found it before we even knew it was gone! We reccomend it to all and will stay again if we are in need of lodging in the area!

When we decided to take a trip to Boston we realized there was no way we could afford to stay in the city for an entire week. This getaway in nearby Beverly was PERFECT. It was a quick jump across the bridge to Salem, and an easy ferry-ride or train trip into Boston. Aurelia was a wonderful resource, always willing to offer helpful suggestions or recommendations. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this great rental to anyone looking for an affordable getaway.

Very large one bedroom, slightly off the beaten path but still close to everything. The place is well kept & very clean & we would stay again. Downstairs has all appliances & couch/small TV, and lots of character in the old exposed beams. Great cheap eats 2 blocks away at the Anchor (definitely not the type of place that will have table linens & Dom Perignon). Very good Irish pub Fibber McGee's about 3-4 blocks away. You could walk to Salem but we took a cab & it only costs $9. Did not take the train, but that would take you much longer to get to Salem than by cab (25 mins train vs 5-8 mins cab). Aurelia was awesome!
