Quiet local community, low street traffic, great biking, swimming, island walks, and great birding area. Beautiful white sandy ocean beach 2 minute walk.

Great spot for kids, ocean beach is generally calm, never crowed, and not deep, one of the best birding areas on the coast of Maine, lovely walks to nearby islands at low tide, beautiful backwater marsh areas for canoeing/kayaking, etc., small park next door (rarely used) that also has a small boat launch.

Wonderful Vacation in Biddeford, ME

We found the home on Hill's Beach Road to be very welcoming. The furnishings were comfortable and everything we needed was at hand. The view of Biddeford Pool from the front windows and the Atlantic Ocean from the rear windows was spectacular. We loved watching a large variety of birds (ones we can't see at home) right out the windows or from the deck. We found mant good restaurants in the area and ate our fill of lobster and other seafoods. We had a very relaxing week there and look forward to going back again in the near future.

We enjoyed a very nice long weekend stay, very relaxing atmosphere. We especially enjoyed watching the tide go in and out , at low tide watching locals dig for clams was very entertaining!
