Nearby is Camel beach Water Park and skiing, Montage Mountain water park, Big Boulder, Jack Frost. Bar B Que on the back deck with the beautiful view. beautiful country area in Gouldsboro Pa in the heart of all the Poconos has to offer. So many spectacular restuarants to choose from. So much to do in this area to much to list. There are over 200 brochures in the house to choose what to do first. Close to Mt Pocono and Camelbeach ski and water park. Pretzel factory, Candy Factory, Candle factory and many many historical sites. Also Holly's Pottery amazing! Holiday and theme train rides. Historyical Gouldsboro Train station 5 minutes from front door.

Where do i begin, OK lets start with the house being dirty every where, the beds looking like they were taken from a horror movie, there is no free wI-FI and apparently there is cable TV however the only channels you have is the workout channel, bible channel and a Spanish channel, the heat functions very poorly, the owner apparently feels her house is marvelous and there is nothing wrong with it. I have rented lots of homes and personally this is by far the worst. And worst of all the owner has a answer for everything you say and will not accommodation you. The owner is may be nice a first but when you pay in full , she will make up stoies and avoid you as best as possible. In the end, we found out that this house has a bad history and the owner has been kicked out of multiple sites dues to her false advertising, house being filthy, and 2007 terrorist plot to top it off. So STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!!!

Great house overall. The owner of the house is very cooperative and fair with her prices. The stay was very pleasant and the neighborhood where the house is located, is very quite and clean. The house had a jacuzzi and a sauna room which was a very big plus for our stay. The home is very well maintained by the owners. The house is very big and spacious. As a costumer I would most certainly rent the house again and would recommend it to anyone who's looking for a large house in the Big Bass lake area. 5 stars.

This home was unacceptable!! The pictures of inside the home are completely inaccurate. I do not recommend this home to anyone. Living conditions are unacceptable and the owner of this home should be penalized for false advertisement. Let's start with the bedrooms on the first floor. Bedroom one with twin beds looks like hospital beds with all rips inside e mattress. The first floor bathrooms were filthy and had to be sterilized. 3 couples had to purchase air mattresses because the sleeping conditions were just unbearable. The house smells so unpleasant and unsterile. The kitchen was filthy. The oven, refrigerator, microwave had to be all deeply cleaned. The dining room consisted of several broken chairs and missing light bulbs, and poor lighting. The pool table was unable to be used due to the tables standing on a slant and all balls shift to one side. The living was NOT advertised properly. Those couches advertised in the photos are completely different. The couches were old material couches that smell. There is no cable or direct tv on the first floor just 2 channels are working. Coming there for new years was a big mistake because we could even see the ball dropmor watch any tv. A DVD player and DVDs had to be purchased to watch tv. The second floor was falsely advertised as well. The kitchen was filthy and could not be used. The master bedroom was not as advertised as well. The TV does not work, the bed was very dangerous to sleep on. The mattresses consisted of 3 different sizes stacked up like a sandwich. The edges on the bed were sharp and dangerous. The bathroom on e second floor had a taped faucet on the jacuzzi. This house was such a disappointment.

Not as advertised

Our entire group felt scammed by the owner of the house. Description is grossly exaggerated and pictures are not up to date. Layout of the house is awful, everything is old and mostly not working. There are beds in this house that I imagine could only come from a crack house. Cable not working, no wifi, gym is only an old bench press with abs machine, game room is practically outside, no heat and pool table needs a lot of leveling. Half the people in our group came down with dust allergies. Kitchen is gross, bathrooms are gross, lights not working, sauna on the 2nd floor with carpet outside? It's just a hot dirty room. Dear. Catherine Woods please renovate your house and stop scamming families who come with children to have a celebration and spend their hard earned money and time.
