This beautiful chalet style home was built in 1973 and totally remodeled in 2003 with all of the most current amenities. Located at the bottom of Snow Summit Mountain, you can walk to the parking lot in 1 minute and be on the lift shortly thereafter......literally!!! It has all the amenities you desire in a relaxing and fun mountain getaway, including modern furnishings. Walk to the slopes. Free shuttle from Snow Summit to Bear Mountain. Snow Summit is the only resort to offer night skiing. Just 2-5 minutes from the lake, restaurants and all of Big Bear's attractions.

Bedding Configuration: The master bedroom has a king-size bed and a master full bath with tub. Featuring a down comforter with duvet, high thread count linens are available for rent. The master features its own desk with mac computer running Tiger, high speed internet connection (airport & ethernet), printer, remote color 20" TV w/ DirecTV.
The second bedroom has a queen-size bed. The third bedroom has a full-size bed. All bedrooms are insulated and feature carpet, end tables, alarm clock radios & a large closet.

Living Room: 27" TV, DirecTV, wireless internet, iTunes compatible, DVD player. Enjoy a crackling fire in the rock fireplace after a great day of skiing. There's a brand new ultra suede couch with chaise.

Deck/Jacuzzi: Just off the Kitchen sits the Deck, that includes a Spa with views of tall pine trees and clear skies for star gazing or snowfall. Enjoy the sunset from the sit “down views in the relaxing Jacuzzi, while melting away the stresses and strains of everyday life. After skiing, the brave can even jump out of the Jacuzzi and make snow angels in the snow “covered backyard which lies just a few steps down from the deck with patio furniture.

Kitchen: Fully-equipped, totally remodeled Kitchen, with dishes and
settings for 6 persons, and all appliances ”oven/range for big
meals, microwave, toaster, dishwasher. All kitchen
utensils, pots and pans ”you'll be hard pressed to find a
better-stocked kitchen in any rental home in Big Bear! We usually
provide dishwashing detergent, paper towels and other cleaning aids.
The kitchen has slate floors and butcher block counters and under cabinet lighting. The compact and casual table seats 4.

Laundry Closet: The large, separate laundry closet has a stackable washer/dryer, linens, towels, extra blankets/pillows, extra shower curtain/liner, extra full-size mattress and laundry detergent.

Big Bear Lake is a great place for fun all year long. Only a short drive from Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego counties Big Bear Lake lies in a valley unsurpassed in mountain beauty, towering pines, sparkling streams, hidden lakes, and abundant wildlife. The scent of pines, fresh mountain air, and the sun-filled days rejuvenate your spirit and inspire you to return again and again.

During the summer, the surrounding mountains contain plenty of outdoor activities. Take a 4x4 tour in the mountains. Go hiking to the top of the famous Castle Rock. Go boating and fishing on the lake for the day. Camp out for the night at one of the many secluded campsites. Take the chairlift up and mountain bike down the challenging terrain.
