Ski Season at "The Double B"

Description of the Big Bear Lake vacation cabin rental

THE DOUBLE B:
Our newly renovated cabin features ski-season rates as low as $150/night. We offer the best 3-star rates at Snow Summit, without exception. Located just two blocks below the Ski Resort, on the very quiet Ponderosa Drive, you can easily walk to the slopes OR take the FREE shuttle that passes by half-a-block away.
THREE-DAY-WEEKENDS (MLK & Presidents) Our Guests are guaranteed an extended check-out time of 6pm, at no extra cost, so that you enjoy a full day on the mountain and a relaxed holiday departure.
ABOUT US:
Our authentically decorated cabin is ideal for fresh air seekers of all ages.
Three Bedrooms & Two Baths featuring all new wood floors, tile, carpet, paint, & design - throughout!
The red brick fireplace loves to warm the chilly night and turn-out a s'more or two or three.
The Living Room features:
- 32in. flat screen TV with a premium cable package
(check out all the uncensored hits like 'Dexter' & 'Weeds'...catch the whole season On-Demand).
- DVD & VHS players.
- High-speed wireless internet.
- iPOD Docking Station
- Stereo with CD & Casette.
- PS2 & loads of games
We have sooo many movies ('50's - 2008), tons of board games, and more good 'reads' than you could tackle in a month.
Lots of entertainment for the 12-and-under set too.

BEDDING CONFIGURATION:
All bedrooms feature carpet, very comfy pillow top beds & fine linens.
The first bedroom is fitted with a queen-size bed and features a 27in. television with DVD player.

The second bedroom is fitted with a king-size bed and features a 27in. television with DVD player.

The third bedroom is fitted with a loft-style queen-size bed and two twins. It is Kid Central with a 27in. TV, PS2, (2)wireless controllers, tons of games, VCR, and NO commercial/cable TV...they can only watch what you allow.

KITCHEN:
Fully equipped and completely stocked right down to the spices. Amenities include an oven/range, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, and coffeemaker (with filters).
Big meal or small we have the service & preparation items you 'll require.
The cabin has a full size dinning table that accommodates 6-8 people.
The natural-wood counter features four stools for the more informal meal.

LAUNDRY:
The laundry room features a full sized washer & dryer. It also comes stocked with detergent, cleaning supplies and other sundries you may require.

HOT TUB:
Seats six below the stars and only a few steps from the back door. We are in the process of installing the hot tub and deck. I do not have pictures available at this time. It will be operational by December 18th, 2009. If not, a $50.00/night refund will be provided to all guests staying after December 18th, 2009.

Our Guests are guaranteed an extended check-out time of 6:00pm, at no extra cost, so that you might enjoy a full day on the mountain and a relaxed holiday departure from the cabin instead of a ski resort parking lot.

$300.00/refundable damage deposit
7% Big Bear Occupancy Tax

We also offer:
ANYTIME CHECK IN/CHECK OUT: Guests may arrive and depart as they wish at anytime in the scheduled calendar day for the additional charge of $35.00 (please inquire about availability.)
WELCOME SERVICE: 30 minutes prior to your ETA my staff will open the cabin, turn on the lights, turn up the central heat & water heater, & turn down the beds for the additional charge of $35.00
DAILY HOUSEKEEPING: We are pleased to offer one-hour of housekeeping between the hours of 8:00am and Noon on any day of your stay for the additional charge of $40.00 per visit.


We have extended-stay rates available.
Book your MONTH for $2500 + fees, tax, & deposit.
(Excluding December 2009 & Jan/Feb/Mar 2010.)

I employ the premiere service company in Big Bear for your 24 hour convenience and emergency property needs.

WINTER:
SKI, SKI, SKI, & SNOWBOARD HEAVEN. We are in the area immediately below Snow Summit, known as Summit Estates.
During the season you can walk down to the free shuttle ride or walk up two blocks right to the lifts at SNOW SUMMIT. We are so close you can come back to the cabin for lunch and save a bundle of dough. Snow Summit also offers night-skiing during high-season. There is also a free shuttle to BEAR MOUNTAIN from the parking lot at Summit.

SUMMER:
Big Bear Lake for boating, waterskiing, jetski, fishing, & sun bathing with parks for the kids. A swim-to rock island for the older kids.
Mountain biking galore - we are only two blocks to "Summit in the Summer," Snow Summit offers mountain biking galore with the lift-ride back up the hill.
Golf - only a two minute drive to the course and clubhouse.
Off-Roading - TONS of O.H.V. areas, for your bikes, buggies, & ATV's.
Day Spas/Slide Park/Hiking/All the fresh-air you can take.

My family and I stayed in this cute cabin for the weekend. It was great, it snowed overnight and was only a couple blocks away from summit! It was so convenient and had everything we needed. Would definately stay here again!
