Tree Top Cottage is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Tree Top Cottage is the most popular Romantic Cottage in Big Bear Lake. We are located in Beautiful Big Bear Lake which is Southern California's 4 season resort area. This beautiful cottage is close to all activities. The perfect place for that Romantic Getaway, a favorite with honeymooners or just a much needed vacation.
When you return after a day full of Big Bear Lake activities be sure and soak in your very private hot tub. Enjoy the California Wine that will be waiting in the cottage for you. Or, turn the fireplace on and have a mug of Hot Chocolate before bed.
We will have for you: Plush linens,honey shampoo and french milled soap. California wine, coffee, hot chocolate, teas, popcorn, all cookware and dishes, surround sound home theater system, coffee maker, microwave,toaster oven, full refrigerator, stove top

When the reservation is made you are required to pay half of your total The balance of your total is due before 10 days of arrival date. If you make your reservation less than 10 days of arrival date you will need to pay your total
when the reservation is made.
Sunday through Thursday 125.00 per night
Friday & Saturday 145.00 per night
2 night min. Tax has already been included in the above rates.
A one time cleaning fee of 60.00 will be added to your total.

Great hidden retreat

Great cabin retreat in the mountains of Big Bear! Just far enough away from the lake to get away from the touristy things, but close enough to be in the Village in 5 minutes. Cottage was a perfect size for 2+ 60lb Lab for the weekend. Great small kitchen and dining room to prepare simple meals or morning snack. Bathroom had two sinks, which was great for brushing teeth. Some reviews mentioned it being a small bathroom, it was larger then our bathroom at home! Bedroom had a huge closet (for those coming in the winter with all the winter coats) and bed was very comfortable. Surround sound in the living room was great for watching an action flick after a long day out on the mountain. Hot tub was great, secluded little corner. We only used it one night because our arrival night we got in after 11, didn't want to disturb the owners or the next door neighbors. Upon arrival, great bottle of wine and a personalized message, and they even left two treats for our dog, which was a great touch. Parking is directly in front of the unit, so there is no hiking to the unit, just a simple cobblestone walk up some stairs and you are there! Only issue, no AC, and it got stuffy at night, but opening all of the windows resolved that issue. Couple of "hints" for visiting Big Bear, definitely go to the North Store and hike the Pedal Path, great 5 mile roundtrip hike along the lake, perfect for dogs and those not wanting to muster the strength to go up the hill. As far as food, there are two large grocery store chains and even a Super KMart! Great Himalayan restaurant in the village (service is terrible, but food is worth it. Get the Lamb Curry for sure!). We also ate at Teddy's, a little corner cafe that has been around since the 1940s (cinnamon roll corn bread for the win!). All in all, a great place to stay in Big Bear, and we WILL be reserving this cabin in the future.

Cozy and Beautiful

This place is amazing! It is absolutely perfect for a romantic getaway. Very quiet and peaceful. There is a full kitchen including a refrigerator, stovetop, and toaster oven so I was able to cook breakfast lunch and dinner. We used our own personal jacuzzi every night. The living room is so nice and cozy, with a fireplace and Christmas tree and a table that had a bottle of wine ready for us when we arrived.
