Big bear cabin

Forest location, minutes away from everything including the lake. Went to the store stocked upon food, cooked on the oven BBQ on the grill, nice. Relaxed in the cabin plenty of room, very spacious. Kids enjoyed the flat screens upstairs and down stairs. I enjoyed the master room with the hot tub. Plenty of bathrooms. My family all enjoyed the cabin. We will be back. Thanks for sharing your spot with us.

I came here with a group of 10 and we were able to have an amazing time enjoying the peaceful and quiet outdoors. Everything was clean when we got there. Just minutes from amazing hiking at Castle Rock Trail where we got to see the sunset! I would definitely go back again!!!

This house is located just far away from everything to give you peaceful surroundings but close enough to be able to get everything. Jim was very helpful with any issues that arose and responded quickly to all questions. I would gladly stay here again, the 4th bedroom is more of a huge wide open room on the second floor but worked wonderfuly for all 9 of us. One should be prepared to have a fridge full of food upon arrival as there is a policy of leave what you don't want, well helpful made for more work when attempting to find room for food for 9 people. While this house is large and well appointed it is important to note that some of the furniture is in need of replacement. That being said for the price this place is going for there was nothing that would not have me going back again if I were to vacation in Big Bear.

Just wanted to thank Jim, our large grp had a wonderful time. This cabin is awesome and very easy to find. Place was very clean and accommodations were great. Everything you can find at home and more, Nice fireplace, big BBQ grill, room for everyone. Our only regret was that the time went by too too fast. We are going to look into the staying at Jim’s cabin in the near future very soon. (hopefully for the summer). Jim was very responsive to all of my e-mail/calls no matter how silly they were. I would definitely recommend Jim’s cabin to anyone of my friends. Perfect place for perfect price. Thanks again Jim

For a big group this was perfect. We enjoyed the fireplace and we had three homemade meals in the kitchen which happens to be well stocked with pans and utensils. Jim did respond to all our calls promptly and was very polite about it. Thanks, I'm sure we'll be back some time.

Our family of 10 had a terrific time during out stay. This spacious house is clean and in very good condition. It is also very close to the slopes and grocery stores. The owner is extremely nice. When we got home and realized that we left our laptop at the cabin, we call Jim and he got back to us right away. Thank you, Jim, for finding our laptop and being so flexible.

Our family recently stayed here in december and had such a blast. It felt like home and was very roomy for our family of 6 and our guest that joined us. Our family of 8 spent the week here and it was great! Plenty of room. Close to town. Snowed one day and we enjoyed the fire inside. Grocery Stores are within 15 mins. Recommend taking extra towels and baking dishes if needed. This was our first family trip to Big Bear and also renting a cabin. Jim was extremely helpful with all of our questions. Would definitely return :)

This cabin truly made us feel like we were at home. As the first place we've ever stayed at in Big Bear, our families (especially our kids) had the best time ever. We hope to stay at this cabin again next year. It is huge and is well kept. Jim kept awesome correspondence w/ us and always answered every question we had. What a great experience we had!

My husband and I have wanted to spend the holidays with our family in the mountains for years. This place seemed ideal and IT WAS! Our grown children and grandchildren joined us and it worked out perfectly. The house was clean, roomy, and comfortably homey. It was well supplied with movies, games, cable TV, pots, pans, dishes etc. To top it off, it snowed while we were there. We had the fireplace going from the time we arrived until the day we left. It was everything we had hoped for. Thanks Jim & Sherry for sharing your home with us. Our family will have wonderful memories to last a lifetime. We plan on coming back!

this place was perfect for the whole family. there were 7 of us and there was still plenty of room. Play at the lake them come back to clean up and relax. also nice to have enough parking for excursion, jet ski and 2 extra cars. BBQ was great. watched movies on the flat panel, Did not get a chance to try out that jacuzzi tub but hope to next time. highly recomend this place. close to town but just far enough that you are not in the middle of all the traffic and mess. hope to try it out in the snow.

W decided to spend the final week of our daughter's summer vacation in Big Bear.The house is spacious, charming & in a lovely woodsy area. Very easy to get to Big Bear Lake & Village with all it's terrific restaurants & shops. The back yard deck with it's barbeque area is delightful. It was my favorite spot to enjoy morning coffee & play my guitar. I was only able to pick up the internet in one downstairs room. However, the owners have indicated they intend to establish an internet connection in the future . Jim was extremely pleasant & easy to deal with. All in all, it's a great deal.

The home was beautiful. It was clean and ready for us. The kitchen is small, but it works. We were blessed with snow in late May....which was unexpected, but wonderful. Our experience in this delightful, spacious cabin could not have been any better. The place was roomy, bright, and had the modern fixtures necessary for a truly relaxing getaway. We especially enjoyed the luxury jacuzzi tub. Soaking in the hot tub after a long day playing in the snow was a great way to end an evening. The owner was prompt and quickly responded to all of our inquiries. We couldn't have asked for more.
