Description of the Big Pine Key vacation home rental
Our home was built in 2005. As it's the case in most newly built homes in the area, the living space is all on the second floor. Some of the main features of our home are: large parking space for up to 5 vehicles, large deck with new barbeque grill and outdoor furniture, wood floors, island kitchen with built-in oven and built-in microwave, 50-inch HDTV, DVD Player, Wi-Fi Internet access, satellite TV.
Master Bedroom with queen bed, 2 night stands with 2 drawers each, dresser with mirror, walk-in closet, private master bathroom with two sinks, Roman bathtub, separate glass-enclosed shower and toilet room within master bathroom. Second bedroom has twin daybed and bunk bed for two children, as well as a drawer chest and closet. Third bedroom has a queen bed, 2 night stands, dresser with mirror, drawer chest and closet. Second bathroom has combination shower and tub, toilet and one sink. There's a game nook with table and chairs next to the hallway that we use for playing dominoes, checkers, cards, etc. Laundry room with washer and dryer and plenty of storage space.
Area Information
Kayaks, bikes and boats can be rented at numerous places nearby, servicing to the home door.
Up to 6 bikes and 2 Kayaks available on site (must be solicited to reserve).

Great Home

We stayed in this home for 3 1/2 months, January 2013 through mid April. This is a very nice, well furnished, and well decorated home. It is kept in very good repair and the owners will immediately address any problem that may arise. It is the perfect home for a large family or group that are vacationing together. Location is perfect for access to all area's of the Key's. All appliance's worked well. It has a super spectacular master bedroom suite and bath, with a huge walk in closet. TV has great selection and y-fi works well with both cell phones and your computer. Owners are very nice people and make you feel welcome in their home. This home is a great value for the price you pay. I would personally recommend for both a short or long term stay.

We spent the winter(Dec.-March) at this home on Big Pine Key and were more thaqn pleased. The home was immaculate, clean and well supplied. Adriel, the owner's son was always helpful and pleasant whenever we had a question.which was not often. The home was convenient for grocery shopping, stores and restaurants and best of all was only a few minutes from Bahia Honda State Park and its wonderful beaches. We would return to this house again and look forward to doing so in the future.

This house is really comfortable. It has everything you need to feel at home. You can visit Bahia Honda State Park: one of the most beautiful places in the Florida Keys, with awesome beaches, water sports, and breathtaking scenery to take pictures. You can admire the key deers passing nearby the house. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this house for your next vacation.

Just wanted to let you know that we had an incredible time staying at your home! It was very spacious and clean. We had our family (4) plus my parents with us, and there was a ton of space. We loved the cove for the kids to have a place to play. And the bedrooms were great and beautifully decorated. There are a million things to do within walking distance, or a very short drive. The park at the corner was amazing. Clean and tons to do! We love the fact that Bahia Honda State Park is just a few miles away. We were able to go everyday!And one of our favorite church's, Vineyard, is a 6 minute walk! The mexican restaurant at the corner (5 minute walk) has great food.What we loved so much is we felt like we were in a tropical paradise. And we were. Anuls (small lizards) to keep the kids running;the walk anywhere around you,was loaded with beautiful sites of palms,tropical flowers and ocean views. Everyone was friendly and willing to help to local destinations. Key West was only a 45 minute drive.The owners of this property were wonderful! Made everything from booking our time, to our stay and departure, nothing but a pure pleasure! Thanks so much and we are all sure to come and stay with you again!

The house was comfortable, very clean and spacious. (I am a neat freak.) It's so nice to be able to do laundry on vacation in a CLEAN place! The kids loved it too. Thank you. If we are back to Big Pine we will certainly use it again.

If your looking for a vacation home away from the hussel and bussel this is it. Close by some beautiful very private beaches. You can walk to the town park at the end of Sands st.(1/4mi) pleanty of beach there. The nite life is 30mi. south. We usualy drove, but for 2.50 the bus picks you up at the cornor of Sands. The most beautiful beaches in all the keys is only seven mi. north. The house is very clean, furnished to the nines. Pleanty of space. We had our children, and grand children visit for 2 wks. Plenty of hot water and plenty of room. The key deer walk right past the house almost every nite. Friendly little critters. If you rent this property I promis you you will love it, and recomend it to your friends and family.
