Whether you are a first-timer or a fishing fanatic, the fishing in the Florida Keys is second to none. You can go offshore in the Gulf to catch big game or stalk tarpon, permit or bonefish in the shallow back country waters of the Florida Bay. There are some great guides who can teach you the basics or take the more experienced fisherman to some of the hottest spots in the Keys.

Snorkeling and Diving
For divers, there are several reefs just minutes away, some in shallow waters which make for great snorkeling. Most dive shops offer day and night dives, equipment rentals and lessons. Looe Key Marine Sanctuary, which boasts the only living Coral Reef in North America, is 10 minutes from our home.

Family Fun
This tropical gem is located in one of the most tranquil settings in the Keys, as it is situated in the heart of the Key Deer Wildlife Refuge. Key deer and wildlife can be seen meandering through the neighborhood on a daily basis. The world-class beach at Bahia Honda State Park is minutes from the home. Seafood restaurants, bait/tackle and dive shops are also minutes away. Want to go island hopping for the day? We recommend renting a kayak or boat for the day or week. Dolphin Marina is located minutes from our home.
