The Log Cabin Home is located in a secluded property bordering the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area (BSFNRR) on the Cumberland Plateau in Tennessee. Picket State Park is a short commute(5 miles). The area is an outdoor paradise offering thousands of acres of preserved wilderness and mountain trails for hiking, ATV trails, biking, hunting, horseback riding and rivers for paddling, fishing or floating.

Area Description

Second Nest Cabin is located in a gated retreat which boarders the Big South Fork National River and Recreation (BSFRR) Area and is conveniently located to the Picket State Park. The area offers thousands of acres of preserved forest and miles of rivers and streams for outdoor adventures; hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, ATV riding, fishing, hunting, paddling, canoeing, exploring, picture taking, site seeing, and more. The area offers extreme natural beauty with scenic views, unique rock formations, wildlife and fauna.
You can enjoy a different experience everyday and with every trip back to the Second Nest.

You will find the cabin home to be clean and well furnished with comfortable Queen Size beds, leather sofa and recliner and decorated with rustic/antique collectables. The cabin offers a large bay window in the dining area that is awesome for viewing wildlife (birds, deer and turkey frequently observed within 20 ft of cabin). Bring shelled corn and sunflowers seeds; the favorite treats of the wildlife guests.

Required Stay: 3 Nights Minimum June - October
Lodging Tax: 5%
Deposits: 1-4 night stays, 1 night deposit, 5 + nights require 2 nights deposit.
Other Fees: Adults over 4 is $20.00 per person per night, children under 12 years old $5.00 per night per child, children over 12 same as adults Cleaning fees $45.00 per stay Pet Fee's $25.00 per pet, per stay, and is non-refundable. Horses stalls available nearby (Retreat or True West Campground). Typical Fee's $10.00-$12.00 per night
