Wonderful vacation!

Thank you Steve and Cathy for such a nice, welcoming home for our vacation! We had 4 adults and 2 children and there was more than enough room for all of us. The man made reef under the dock was so fun for our boys that are 7 & 9, they loved snorkeling and fishing, we all did actually! The wildlife was amazing! The pod of wild dolphins that came so close to the dock while two of us were out snorkeling was a moment that all of us will remember for ever! Steve and Cathy are so extremely helpful with fishing tips, great restaurants and overall knowledge of the keys! Thanks for making this one of our best vacations yet! We definitely hope to return.

Marvellous Getaway

My wife and I enjoyed spending our 47th wedding anniversary at Steve and Kathy's Torchview property recently. It was all we expected and more. They treated us in a very special way, and helped us learn about the nearby area, attractions, and good eating places. Kathy had fresh flowers and a nice anniversary card waiting our arrival. Steve gave us instruction about how to fish off the boat dock. We ate our catch that second night we were there. The house is wonderful. Everything needed is furnished, and we felt so comfortable and safe in the privacy of their home. We were able to ride bikes on the quiet roads nearby, and never saw a soul! We saw two Key deer (a buck and a doe) one night. We will definitely want to come back and stay for a longer time at some point in the future. You cannot go wrong renting this wonderful property. You will have peace and quiet, and enjoy an unparalleled view from the 2nd floor balcony around the house. Thanks, Steve and Kathy, for making our short visit there so unforgettable!

House was as advertised. We arrived in the middle of the night and the agent had the house ready with the a/c on. A very nice surprise was the man made reef under the dock. It was teeming with fish. We also saw a couple of lobsters. Thanks

Great House to escape the crowds

We stayed at Torchview in June and this was our first experience with renting in the Keys. We had 2 adults and 4 college age kids. It was a great place to vacation. The house is just about perfect. Stunning views from all rooms, even from the bathroom! We loved that it looked onto the open bay, not a crowded canal. Big Torch Island is very isolated, so you really feel like you have the place to yourself. The fishing and snorkling were great right off the dock. We kept an 18’ boat at the dock with no problems. It was an easy drive to Key West. We hope to return!
