Description of the Bingham vacation home rental

Four season beautiful home located in Solon, Maine with 3 bedrooms and one bath with frontage on the Kennebec River and the ITS trail (Solon/Bingham Recreational Rail Trail). This home has a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, electric stove, full size refrigerator, dishes and microwave.
In the spring season, fishing starts April 1st. Salmon, rainbow and brook trout are just waiting to be caught. Bring your own bike for a nice quiet ride on one of the trails or down a country road.
In the summer season you can bring your own ATV and ride on the well maintained trail system for a fun filled trip to Jackman or enjoy the river with fishing, kayaking and swimming. In the evening you can sit by the campfire cook hot dogs and roast marshmallows and enjoy the simple, stress free life of Maine.
In the fall enjoy the changing of the leaves from greens to golds and reds with the reflection in the water is great for memorable pictures that will be in your mind for a lifetime. Trout and salmon fishing is still legal until the end of October. An out-of-state license is easily purchased within a mile from your house. Hunting season starts with birds, moose, deer and bear. We are located 10 miles from Zone 14 for moose hunting.
In the winter season enjoy snowmobiling on the ITS trail with easy access to Jackman, Greenville or Kingfield where you can stop at one of the local restaurants for a hot cup of soup or expanded menu. There are several well known lakes in the area for ice fishing. Cross country skiing is also another option for your winter vacation. Coming back home you can enjoy the warmth of the woodfire, curl up with a book, watch the snowflakes fall and know that you are in Maine where life is what it should be.
We are a non smoking, no pet property. We are currently taking reservations.

Best Vacation EVER!!!

This is an amazing home to rent! Very clean with all the modern amenities!! Nice location. We went for school vacation and snowmobiled, ice fished, and even travelled to saddleback mountain for skiing. The location is wonderful! The owners are amazing and very knowledgeable! Can not wait to go again!! This is a must rent!!!

Very Quiet and CLEAN ..

We rented this for Moose Hunting and is a great place and section of Maine. Deer in the driveway and so many things to see in the area. The trails are right down the little hill in the backyard which makes it perfect for snowmobiling or fourwheeling or just a great hike along the river. Could not have asked for a better place as a matter of fact we booked it for flyfishing next season already..Great Place !!
