Description of the Black Hills vacation cabin rental

Nestled on a pine filled hillside is the Hideaway Cabin, a secluded A-frame with loft. One bedroom with queen bed downstairs, double bed in loft. Modern kitchen, 1 bathroom with tub/shower, laundry room, Good sized living room/dining area, small deck. This cabin is perfect for 2, fine for 4 !

Rapid Creek is just a short walk down the hill. This property affords quiet and privacy. About the only thing you will hear after 8:00 PM is an occasional coyote call !

The Hideaway Cabin is located 2 1/2 miles from Rochford, SD, home of the historic Moonshine Gulch Saloon, and is close to the Mickelson Trail (for biking and hiking) and snowmobile trails. One hour to Rapid City, Hill City,Sturgis or Spearfish and 1/2 hour to Historic Lead (known for the Homestake Gold Mine) and Deadwood (known for Calamity Jane, Seth Bullock and Wild Bill).

In addition a 100% refundable cleaning deposit of $ 150.00 is due upon reservation. Cleaning deposit will be returned in full upon check-out if property is left in same condition as upon arrival. In case of cancellation, 2 weeks notice is required to be refunded all of your lodging deposit(100 % will be refunded if we to fill the vacancy),all cleaning dep. refunde

We want everyone to know that this little hideaway in the woods is an absolute fantastic place to spend any vacation whether it be a few days or a few weeks. Extremely clean and is furnished to make you feel right at home. The owners are extemely knowledgable of the area and was willing to share with us. We can't thank them enough for making our trip so very memorable. We are looking forward to going back to the Hideaway in the future since we didn't get to see and do everything the area has to offer. This was our 1st trip to Sturgis on the bike. It was so nice to be able to get away from all of the hustle and noise every nite. It was very relaxing to sit out on the deck each morning & evening just taking in the beautiful skyline/countryside and enjoying the peace & quiet. Convenient location to all of the attractions in the area. We will not hestitate to recommend the Hideaway to any friends or family that might happen to be visiting South Dakota.
