Our stay was fantastic! Let me just start by saying the view was magnificent! The interior of the cabin was immaculate, comfortable and equipped with everything a person could need. Downtown Black Mountain is very close by and full of neat little shops and cafes. I recommend staying a few nights so you can check out all that nearby Ashevile has to offer as well. Scenic, romantic, cozy - a perfect getaway!

Thank you Larry & Barbara for a wonderful Cabin. This was our 2nd stay in the beautiful town of Black Mountain and feel that we have found a new home. We will definately be back again. We recommend Cabin in the Clouds for that perfect getaway. Fred made me an awesome table setting with all the colors of the leaves. We did so much this trip that it was nice to come home to the fireplace and relax. The walks up the mountain were super. The porch is a great place to sit in the mornings and drink that cup of coffee or at night with a hot chocolate or glass of wine. Can't wait until our next stay.

A perfect fall weekend, weather wise, early leaf change and the perfect cabin. What more needs to be said. Our first visit was in the summer and we had a weekend with low humidity and we were able to open the windows. This time we used no heat, no air, just Mother Nature and lots of blankets. In the evening we did use the fireplace for some ambience. Don't expect to be staying at "The Ritz". This cabin is up-to-date in the kitchen, with the basics and the living room area is pleasant and inviting. The bed is very comfortable with a magnificent view. If you want to spend time watching the t.v. the lower channels on the cable get distorted. You will not be disappointed. We will be going back again!

It was everything the web site displayed. The view was awesome and the interior very comfortable. The weather cooperated with cool mornings amd evenings and sunny warm days. The mountains did not come out the first morning but were gorgous Sunday morning. We had a great visit.

My new husband and I enjoyed relaxing at the cabin very much. Note that in the middle of summer growth, the mountain view is pretty limited from the porch. And the pictures led us to believe there were 2 accessible decks, when really only 1 is available. Thank you for providing all of the amenities - very nice for a getaway.

We had a wonderful time staying at the cabin. It is convenient to so many things (Asheville, Chimney Rock, Mt. Mitchell, etc.) and we will certainly be staying again in the future!

What a cute little cabin, all the comforts of home. The view is beautiful and it doesn't get much better soaking in the view with a morning cup of coffee on the back deck. Will defitently visit again, thanks Larry and Barbara for share your "Cabin in the Clouds" Make sure you visit the downtown area of Black Mountain, wonderful little shops and the people as so friendly.

Very nice cabin. Inside was up to date, roomy for two, and in good location. View was really nice. Only thing that could be better would be a new updated larger tub in the bathroom and heat pump kept blowing cool air one minute and then warm the next. Very reasonable price and would consider staying again.

I highly recommend this cabin for anyone wanting to stay in Black Mountain, NC. Very private, very clean, and very relaxing. I can't wait to rent this cabin next year!!

The cabin was immaculate! The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was beautiful. I want to come back in the winter to be able to use the fireplace....and the porch was very private with a wonderful view.

We went here for the first time this month is it was spectacular!! Everything was so clean and cozy. The views are so beautiful and relaxing. The bed was super comfy and inviting. They also have all the extras we needed from plastic wrap to take home our leftovers to coffee and cream and sugar in the morning. We will DEFINATELY come back and would recommend this to anyone that just needs to "get away" :)
