Description of the Black Mountain vacation home rental

Our home facing the Western North Carolina mountains was designed to provide individuals or families a place for rest, relaxation and recreation. In addition to the bedrooms there are two "great" rooms on two floors. Each has a fireplace. A sense of privacy is provided thanks to green space.

This home sits on the top of the mountains overlooking the Swananoa Valley. In the evening one can sit on the deck to enjoy a sunset. During the day you can play golf or tennis (5 minutes away), you can enjoy one of the many activities/sites in Asheville (e.g. Biltmore), you can ride along the Blue Ridge Parkway, you can go hiking or rafting, you can go shopping, or you can simply relax. Daytrips to Brevard, Hendersonville (the Flat Rock Playhouse), Cherokee, Maggie Valley and other NC attractions are easy to make from our home. We are close to Montreat, Ridgecrest, Blue Ridge Assembly and other conference centers.

Our group of 9 ladies enjoyed the view and homey atmosphere of the Welk Home while attending a Conference in the area. The view is beautiful with plenty of windows to see it and a great deck on the back. The home is well equipped and we had a delightful time. We had to turn up the heat to warm up and air out the basement the first night. The reality company was very helpful and hospitable. We hope to rent it again. Black Mountain is a great small town and Townsend Park was a lovely place to walk. Had we been there for a vacation, we would have spent more time at the park.
