G3 is located on the 7th tee of a year round golf course--Lakeview Golf Club in Blackshear. Secluded on a 2-acre parcel of land, the estate faces 8 fairways of gorgeous greens before you!

Area Description

G3 is located 3 miles south of Blackshear directly on the Lakeview Golf Course. To the south you will find Laura Walker Park with hiking and golf. 20 min. away, you'll find North America's largest swamp the Okefenokee! There are many guided tours, train ride and outfitters available with over 120 miles of canoeing alone in this 700 sq mile nature preserve! Check with the Fish & Wildlife Commission for any over night permits. If you like reptiles this is probably the BEST place in the world! In summertime enjoy U-pick Georgia produce at 18 farm stands. Approx 50 miles to the east, (about an hour), is the Atlantic Ocean with all the romantic Sea Islands of Georgia. Jekyll Island with a water park and the historic museums of the Rockefellers, Vanderbilts and the creation of the US Mint, Sea Island, St. Simons Island, Cumberland Island has a ferry with the church JFK jr was married in. Amelia Island in Florida~more great GOLF, and Tybee Island in southern and quaint Savannah, Georgia. The city of Valdosta is to the West with Wild Advertures Theme Park and outlet shopping malls. Metropolitan Jacksonville is 80 miles to the south.

Deposits: Security Deposit is $200. Security deposit is refundable for no damage.
Other Fees: Please note: Holiday rates are $100 in addition to weekly or monthly rates for New Years, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Best Relaxing Vacation Home, September 22, 2009

We stayed in this vacation home in June 09. It was the best vacation experience. The house is so private and it was soooo nice to relax and do nothing. I would recommend this house to ANYONE who wants a nice relaxing vacation.

Our vacation at G3 was nothing less than fabulous. Larry (brother) and I were there 1 month and golfed 19 times. If you rent G3 there is a golfcart included in the rental and some right handed clubs. The course itself is full sized, well laid out and maintained. We just went out the garage in the supplied golf cart and commenced our game on the 7th hole adjacent to the Estate paying at the clubhouse on the 9th hole.......what more could you want! Oh yes, there a little old fella who sells like new, used golf balls right next to the course. Get this ...a dozen pro v titleist balls for $4 a dozen....they sell for $5.50 a ball back here. He's got Nike, Srixon,etc. at the same price. We also golfed at a magnificent State Park course about 20 minutes away.

The price is right, the Estate luxurious yet very homey and relaxing. The owners are a very charming couple, Bonnie and Eric. You'll need a car. Blackshear is a small town about 5 minutes down the road with all the basics.
Larry and I did most of our shopping in Waycross about 15 minutes away, with good selection of restaurants, theatre, J.C. penny, Sears, Belks and a super Walmart. We also took a drive to Jekyll Island.
Larry and I went to golf and relax and that's exactly what we did and enjoyed ourselves immensely.
