Description of the Blairsville vacation cabin rental
It's hard to believe that only two hours northeast of the hustling and bustling noise of Atlanta, you can find such a tranquil setting and the opportunity to escape. Town is not that far as the picturesque town of Blairsville is only eight (8) miles away. You will pass over some of the most beautiful country you will ever see as you make your way over the winding road that leads to Blairsville.
Surrounding area: There is much to see and/or do. This is a photographer's dream ... so many beautiful pictures to capture! We have seen the Dogwood season begin to open on the mountain, a red-headed woodpecker hammering out a meal, graceful deer leap across our path and the neighbors tell us that we will see our share of black bears.

Owner Supplied Testimonials
We had an amazing stay here. The cabin had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the view of the mountains from the back porch. The local hiking trails are very good. I wish we had more time here.
From driving up for the first time to the very end, we knew this was going to be our go-to place when we traveled to the mountains. I grabbed 2 of my closest friends and we had the best "girl's getaway" ever! The place was very clean and well-maintained and had everything we needed, down to spices, coffee makers, etc. We cooked mostly on the large gas grill provided on the screened in porch and enjoyed the fabulous views while having coffee. We ventured to DeSoto Falls, Vogel State Park, Amicalola Falls and Mercier Orchards and then some smaller places along the way. There is plenty to do but I could see myself just enjoying being away maybe in the winter, returning to do just relax with my husband since he does not enjoy hiking and sight-seeing like I do but he would enjoy grilling, the fire pit and the serene setting. Carl and Esther provided wonderful customer service. Chostoe Sanctuary is much better than anyone could describe. You HAVE to see and enjoy it yourself!
Very impressed with all the amenities that was at cabin. Most enjoyable stay even with three days of straight rain. Close to in laws and recreation sights. We will be back next year . Thanks for everything no negative comments at all .
My 9 yr old grandson and I stayed 3 nights and loved every minute. We were so comfortable and had everything we needed for a great mini vacation. The cabin is located perfectly for hiking and sightseeing. This was my second stay and it certainly won't be my last. I highly recommend this beautiful retreat. It is very clean and beautifully decorated...inside and out.
We had such a nice quiet stay at your cabin, like every- one said, its so peaceful and so well stocked, never have we stayed where we had everything that we needed. Nicely decorated, and the view was amazing. We will be back if not this year then next year for sure! Thank you Carl and Esther for the great experience.
Your cabin was very centrally located for everything we wanted to do. Took several hikes to several different waterfalls in the area. Hiked up to Brasstown Bald, hiked part of the Appalacian trail, etc. We were not really in the cabin that much as we were out hiking most of the time! The bed was very confortable. Fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. Since this was a vacation for me (my hubby is retired, I still am working) I told him that I was doing NO cooking so we didn't use the kitchen much. We had bought all microwavable dinners and easy things to pop in the micro but it is a nicely stocked kitchen if someone wants to cook. (I had even brought paper plates, cups and plastic silverware so I wouldn't have to do any dish washing!) Can't even remember the countertops, but sure don't remember that they needed replacing unless you are talking about the countertop in the bathroom. It seems as if I remember it being loose or something. We enjoyed our trip so much that Philip decided we needed to head back up to North Georgia at least once a year, so I am sure you will hear from us again.
Even though the" raindrops were falling on ou heads", the thoughtful and gracious owners had well-prepared for our stay. They had myriads of items we had not expected. The setting was even better than we expected. This very kind couple really strives to help you have everything you need and some that you might just want. Much better than the impersonal chain establishments.
Well Carl, we will be leaving your beautiful cabin tomorrow. I just had to tell you that about five minutes ago the bear walked through the back yard as we were sitting here enjoying the view of the mountain. What a lovely end to our stay here. You thought of everything to make your guests welcome. Thank you so much.

Thanks for telling me about the salt lick....sure enough, we saw three deer down there just a little while ago. What a lovely place! " one hour later"
I guess that's the trick. Eat ribs outside and the bear will sniff them out and come by to see what's
up. We never ate outside and we didn't see so much as a chipmunk. We enjoyed the cabin and
will take advantage of your offer for a free night sometime in the future. We had a great weekend.
The weather was perfect for our drive to Ana Ruby falls. The fireworks at Meeks Park. We had
the best seats I've ever had at a fireworks show, directly over our heads. A fine hike on the bear
hair trail at Vogel. Sipping wine at the Crane Creek winery outside Young Harris. And what a
store Alexander's is. Unbelievable. In the middle of nowhere. Bought a nice golf shirt for $15. And
the Ingle's in Blairsville is probably the finest grocery store I've ever been in. Thanks again.
