We have stayed at the Roaring Rivers Chalets for the last 9 years. The chalets have recently been remodeled and updated (2006). The units are adequate in size, there are larger ones available for those who need space. Some have gas fireplaces and all have decks to sit and enjoy the wonderful roaring creek and deer which come to drink in the evening. The chalets are peaceful and tranquil. Traffic is almost impossible to hear. It is very conveniently located to Appalachian Ski Resort and nearby shopping. The price is awesome! We give Roaring Rivers Chalets a thumbs up!
