This charming craftsman style home is located in a quiet rural town near the Mad River. The home has two bedrooms with queen beds and one bath with shower. The floor plan is open with a large kitchen, dining room, and livingroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with full fridge, stove, and microwave.
the house is located in a quite and safe neighborhood just 5 miles east of Arcata Ca and 15 minutes from Eureka. Surrounded by hillsides of Redwoods and minutes from the scenic Mad River this is truly a beautiful vacation setting. Great opportunities for birdwatching, summer swimming, hiking and biking. Regulation Bocce court located at nearby park.

The cottage offers peace and quite in a comfortable setting. The home is approximately 1100 sq ft. Fenced backyard offers privacy for BBQ and relaxing. Wake to the sounds of birds singing not traffic. Yet, within minutes you can be on the highway, off to explore the the Redwoods and surrounding areas.

Located 30 minutes from Redwood State and National Parks. This is a perfect homebase for endless outdoor adventures. Enjoy a picnic on the river or enjoy local foods in nearby Arcata or Eureka restaurants. If you like to cook your own gourmet meals the cottage has a well equipped kitchen.
Children over 6 and older welcome may. May consider single small well trained dog. Deposit required.

Blue Lake is home to Del Arte school of physical theater. Where you can enjoy evening performances. Enjoy a massage at our local spa. Enjoy hiking through magnificant redwoods, take a harbor cruise around Humboldt Bay or enjoy the many historical museums. There are farmer's markets in summer and Art shows located throughout the nearby towns. Stroll along pristine beaches without crowds or head to hike on the hundreds of trails throughout the county. This is truly a Redwood Paradise.

June 14, 2008 We stayed in Rebecca's Cottage for two nights with our daughter. We were very happy with our accommodations. This is a cute little home with everything we needed for our stay. Blue Lake is a special little town.
