Wonderful place for a family!

Our stay at Creekside Cove was fabulous! Although there are neighbors surrounding the cabin, we never heard a peep from them. Our family of 7 was able to fit just fine, although a family of 6 would've fit a little more comfortably. Also, if you want a bathroom in the master bedroom this isn't the place for you. Regardless.... We loved the cabin. It is clean, beautifully set up and very cozy. We would definitely go back! :)

Beautiful Cabin

We stayed here for our 6m anniversary. We were speechless when we arrived... The cabin was so beautiful & spacious. Oct. was a great time to visit due to the festivals & activities occurring the 2nd week of the month.

Wonderful place in the mountains

The Cabin is amazing. It is furnished with good taste and provides all appliances. You can spend your time in the hot tub relaxing or go hiking in the mountains. There's a fireplace where you can cook or simply spend time around the fire with friends. This Cabin is a piece of paradise!:)

I would recommend this cabin to anyone that is not already used to privacy. My 3 star rating has nothing to do with the cleanliness, the overall look of the cabin, it's use of space, the creek, or anything at all about the cabin itself. The only thing we found distasteful was the location and the view. But I believe that this is a matter of perspective and definition. The owners definition of private and secluded is simply not the same as mine. There are other cabins behind this property and a next door neighbor within a stones throw who was actually target shooting while we were there. It is close to the road,from my perspective, and we did not really enjoy the view at all. However, I spent many long gazes at the amazing wood of the cabin. Thinking about the fact that God made every tree that was used in the making of this cabin was amazing. The detail is wonderful! It was very clean and the decor was nice. It would easily sleep 10 if needed;it is nicely laid out for maximum use of space. If you have kids, the yard is big and the creek not too deep (unless it rains for 32 hours straight...then it gets pretty deep and fast!...but did not get above the banks). We really appreciated the fire place as it was much cooler than we anticipated. We even enjoyed the lady bug invasion! They are cute and harmless...some of my best childhood friends(its a spring thing). So if you are ok with having neighbors on your vacation, this is probably a really good choice.

Quiet Beauty

I just wanted to let you know what an enjoyable time we had at your cabin this week. It was exactly what we needed and were looking for. We have been caring for a terminally ill family member and as you can imagine this has been a very difficult and exhausting time. We needed a quiet place of beauty to reconnect with each other and recharge for the coming months. We spent every evening in the hottub watching the transition from fireflies to stars lighting up the sky.

We had a very wonderful time at your beautiful cabin. It was just what we were looking for and very relaxing. I loved the jacuzzi and looking at all the stars. Our family wants to come back for the fall and see the change in colors. You were right about having everything we needed. The dinner places you recommended were very nice and the food was great!

Our family had a wonderful time at Laurel Creek. The place was excellant! The cabin had everything you could want and more. It was wonderful looking at the stars at night in the hot tub. I would truly recommend it to everyone.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The creek was wonderful for the kids and they loved the big yard and the many trees to hide behind, while playing hide and seek. Our whole family agreed that this was one of our best vacations! The owners Tim and Kathy gave us plenty of things to see and do, with great directions.
