Description of the Blue Ridge vacation cabin rental

Feel the "Magic of the North Georgia Mountains" when you stay with "Blue Ridge Mountain Cabins" in the "Mountain Joy" cabin! Spend a week-end, week or that special occasion or holiday with us! All cabins are privately owned and fully equipped. Select a cabin with a mountain view or by a river or trout stream! All cabins have fireplaces and some have hot tubs! Enjoy hiking, fishing, whitewater rafting, horseback riding or just kick-back and enjoy the fresh mountain air in your own mountain hideaway. We are pet friendly in most cabins but ask first!

Whatever the reason or the season the North Georgia Mountains of Blue Ridge, GA is the place for relaxing or rekindling your spirit! In the spring the mountains are full of pastel colors as they awake from a winter's sleep. The summer is the best time to take a lazy float down the river, fish, try your hand at whitewater rafting or enjoy mother nature with a horseback ride. Enjoy the fall foilage of the mountains as the leaves show off their bright colors of gold, red and orange. The fall is also a good time to visit the fall festivals...some of the best you'll find anywhere by local mountain artists that display their unique, one-of-a-kind mountain art and crafts! The winter is a time to gather around the fireplace with friends, family, a good book or enjoy a hot tub after a day of hiking!

House-keeping fee varies from $50 to $75 depending on the cabin. Pet lodging $ 25.00 per pet, per stay. Cabins rates are based on 1 upto and including 4 people (including children). Additional people (including children) $10.00 per person per night or $60.00 per person per week!

Our family of four generations gathered at the Mountain Joy cabin. It was a wonderful experience in a tranquil atmosphere. The beautiful cabin provided all the essentials and we had a fabulous Thanksgiving meal. The scenery was breathtaking with the fall foliage still changing. The view from the screened porch and hot tub was breath taking. The crisp mornings made for refreshing morning walks. We toured the town of Blueridge in all its holiday glory and then proceeded on to the town of Ellijay. It too was a wonderful small town Christmas setting, wonderful shops, and the Santa train was a unique experience. 'Mountain Joy' was truely a joy for our family to experience and will provide memories for this family for years to come. Thank you. Jo Ann Alderman
