Blue Ridge is located in the north Georgia mountains just 90 minutes north of Atlanta. Lake Blue Ridge, the Toccoa River, the Ocoee River and Fightingtown Creek offer water sports, trout fishing, tubing, boat rentals on the lake, and whitewater rafting. Hiking and horseback riding are other popular activities. Blue Ridge has one of the last few remaining drive in movie theaters which plays first run movies.
