Make your next mountain getaway to the luxury and comfort of Coppertop Cabin. Located six miles outside of Blue Ridge, GA and just 1.5 hours from the hustle of Atlanta, Coppertop Cabin offers the perfect break from the stresses of the city.

THE CABIN

Our "DogFriendly" cabin, sitting on 2.5 acres, is at an elevation of 2200 ft. and has a fantastic view of seven other mountain ranges beyond us and the valley below. The woods around our cabin are great for walking and enjoying nature and our many decks and gazebo are great for relaxing and enjoying the views. Also, sitting around the fireplace on the rear main deck in the evening with family and friends and watching the unbelievable array of stars on a clear, cool night is a memorable experience. Most clear nights, sitting on one of our many decks, you will see several falling stars if you are patient and watchful.

The main level kitchen and dining area have everything you need to cook and dine. Also, on the rear main deck is a large, charcoal grill that can handle food for large groups (bring your own charcoal and lighter fuel).

The cabin itself is full of spaces to gather or find a cozy, private place to read and relax. The main living area, rear deck, and terrace level media room all have fireplaces to enjoy gathering.

The main level king bedroom master suite has a private door to the main deck and the main bath has a large double vanity and walk-in shower with 3 shower heads.

The two large upstairs queen bedroom suites have spacious private balconies to sit and enjoy a cup of hot coffee in the morning or relax with a great view and book anytime. The upper bedrooms share a bath with a jacuzzi tub/shower combo

The terrace level has a large bunk room with two bunk beds that have standard lower beds and twin upper beds. The terrace level has a large bath with a double vanity, separate shower and jacuzzi tub.

The terrace level has a game room with board games, a pool table, and a card table that can also be used as a dining table. The media room has a large screen TV, sound system, and DVD. It also has a library of paperback books that you are welcome to read and/or take with you. If you take a paperback book and have a book that you can replace it with, that would be nice, but is not required.

THE TERRACE LEVEL OUTSIDE

On the terrace level is a large party deck, the gazebo with propane heater and table and chairs for dining or relaxing, and a 6 person hot tub, all of which have great views of the mountains.

Also on the terrace level, we have added the game of corn hole (bean bag pitch and toss) that can be played on the concrete deck directly off the terrace and is fun for everyone.

THE SURROUNDING AREA

We are in the ASKA Adventure Area 6.5 miles from the town of Blue Ridge. Our mountain is directly above and within walking distance of the Toccoa River and minutes from Lake Blue Ridge. Stanley Falls and nature walk is also just minutes away. There is swimming, fishing, tubing, kayaking, canoeing, boating, and skiing. We also have hiking, mountain biking, and nature walks right out our door or at the many trail heads and forest reserves within minutes of us. There are equestrian centers in Blue Ridge for those who love horseback riding.

In the quaint town of Blue Ridge, you can shop for any needs and there are both fine dining and casual dining restaurants if you get tired of cooking on the mountain. There is a great drive-in theater downtown that usually shows a double-feature and starts at dusk. It is a lot of fun for adults and children as you can sit outside your vehicle in lawn chairs if you wish. There is a playground between the movie screen and parking area. We have six fold-up lawn chairs on the terrace level that you are welcome to take to the drive-in. There is an old-time train that gives tours from Blue Ridge to the border towns of McCaysville,GA/Copperhill, TN, following the Toccoa River all the way. The river changes names to the Ocoee River on the Tennessee side. The two towns are divided by Main St. which literally separates the two towns. It is a fun family outing.

Amacola Falls is 35 miles from us near the town of Dahlonega and is a great day trip; it is the largest waterfall east of the Mississippi River at 753ft tall and is an awesome sight; Dahlonega is a fun town to visit with a wonderful town square and many interesting shops. There are many other sights and small towns in Georgia, Tennessee, and North Carolina that are easy day trips from the cabin.

After spending your day boating on Lake Blue Ridge, tubing the Toccoa, or hiking and biking through the Chattahoochee National Forest, grab yourself a glass of wine, kick back in the hot tub, and re-live your adventure; we promise you won't forget it.

We are minutes from fishing, river tubing, kayaking/canoeing, horseback riding, and only 30 minutes from white water rafting in Tennessee.

Amacola Falls, the largest waterfall east of the Mississippi River (750 feet tall) is only 40 miles from our doorstep.
