Privately tucked in the mountaintops of North Georgia, Cohutta View seamlessly blends a rustic setting with luxurious accommodations to create the perfect getaway.
Upon entering the front door you will be enchanted with the lovely wood work, soaring ceilings and stacked stone gas fireplace. On the main level you will find a newly appointed kitchen with stainless steel appliances and fully equipped with everything you will need to whip up a delicious meal. Adjoining the kitchen is a spacious dining area and family room with all the comforts of home including a flat screen television equipped with Apple TV. Make your way to the french doors flanking either side of the fireplace to enter onto the screened porch with outdoor wood burning fireplace, hot tub, guest seating and dining area and take a look at the breathtaking year round views of the Cohutta Mountains.
This home has sleeping accommodations for up to 8 or 9 people a perfect set up for families vacationing together or a good-sized group. On either side of the great room you will find two master suites with brand new furnishings including king beds and flat screen televisions. Both bedrooms enjoy the splendor of private baths with double vanities and stone-fronted tubs. This layout provides additional privacy with outdoor access from each bedroom. Head upstairs to an open loft area overlooking the dramatic family room. This level is complete with a cozy nook for reading and a log-sided futon for an additional guest.
The completed lower level is where the fun begins! You can enjoy a game of pool or shuffleboard, play the Wii, watch a movie or relax at the bar. Not to be outdone, head out to the deck where you can enjoy the picturesque views of the grand vista. On this level is an oversized bedroom complete with a queen size bed and log furnishings. This room provides private access to the lower deck. Here you will also find a full bath, as well as a sleeper sofa for additional guests.

Beautiful View

We loved the view and the cabin. The owners took the extra step and provided a book with all the informatin you need about their cabin and things to do in Blue Ridge. Has everything you need and more...books, games, pool table, hot tub etc. The only downside was my son was bit by a scorpion in the cabin and we saw another one alive and three or four dead. We were told that is normal for Georgia but we have traveled to themountanis many times and never had a problem. Also, there is a bedroom on each floor which is great for privacy but if want to keep any eye on your kids, the rooms are prety far apart.
