Description of the Blue Ridge vacation home rental

If you want to spend your time in the mountains, there is 9 acres of beautiful nature with babbling creek and wild flowers. You can fish few steps away from your porch on the noisy Fightingtown Creek.

You can spend sunny days in the in-ground pool. You can read book in the hammock or swings right next to the water.

toys for kids of every age just tell us how old are your kids and we will help you to keep them busy!

This is a large cabin and we welcome you to come with your family only or take grandparents or friends
Our beautiful retreat is only 4 miles from downtown Blue Ridge and 6 miles from the Blue Ridge Lake.

Just came back from our vacation

Excellent house in every way! I would not call it a cabin, as probably only few rooms will be "cabin like". But it doesn't matter. The house is large, comfortable and location is the best! Owners are long distance managers but helped us in every way. The house has 3 levels. Each level has 2-3 bedrooms, so could have "family quarters" for all of our 3 siblings. We loved the pool. The hot tub was not available for the summer, but it is there.

Very convenient and comfortable

We stayed at this cabin in May. The owners were nice enough to open the pool for us. We are from Canada originally and we didn't feel it was cold swimming. The house was perfect for our group of 16. We put our teen kids to the low lever where pool table, bunk beds and nintendo. They liked their privacy and we LOVED ours! 2 kitchens helped a lot too! The property around this cabin is beautiful. We walked an hour every day - and all around it. The creek area needs better spot to fish, but we didn't mind. Yulia gave us some ideas where to take our kids (5 - from 12 to 17) - and we loved it. Next year we will be in Florida, but we will be back in 2012!

Excellent for large family

We had the best vacation ever. This is our 5th annual summer family vacation - we have families coming from 3 different states - 4 generations in total. The house is very spacious. The pool was clean blue, we spent most of the time there. We tried to fish on the creek, but had no luck with fish. The town is very close by, we went to tubing and horseback riding. Yulia was very helpful in every way. We already book next year.

Family Vacation

The stay at this home was very good, the size was perfect for the number of people we had staying. The closeness to stores and other needed things was good, we were close enough to go to TN two times. There were only a few problems: not enough towels(body & wash cloths) for the number of people we had, there were lots of ants (the exterminator could not get to us until after or stay...) One bathroom's shower curtain had a good deal of mildew on it (when reported to the owners it was corrected)The river that ran on the property was nice, but NO FISH seemed to be found at all... The outside balcony had some furniture on it but it was too dirty to use. Overall VERY NICE home for the stay.
