Description of the Bois Blanc Island vacation cottage rental

This new Bois Blanc Island waterfront cottage is a quiet retreat located on the South Channel of the Straits of Mackinaw. It has a loft bedroom with a queen size bed, one downstairs bedroom with a double bed, and a second downstairs bedroom with bunk beds. Bedrooms are carpteted and all others rooms have ceramic tile floors. The cottage had a large front deck with comfortable porch funiture for relaxing in the sun.
Amenties provided: Refrigerator, gas stove/oven, dishwasher,microwave, coffee maker, dishes, cooking utensils, linens, towels, gas grill, TV/DVD player, electric heat and a propane gas fireplace.

Bois Blanc Island, located in the Straits of Mackinaw, is an unspoiled, rustic vacation retreat. Visitors to the island can enjoy a host of outdoor activities such as hiking, bicycling, boating, walking the beach, fishing, and exploring the inland forest and lakes. The cottage is located on a quiet trail away from traffic. Nearby Mackinac Island and other historical sites and tourist attractions are easily accessible from Bois Blanc Island. The island is reached by ferryboat from Cheboygan or by air. Air service is provided to our modern airport from Cheboygan or St. Ignace by Great Lakes Air Service.
