Bondi Beach - One of Sydney's most eclectic and exciting precincts. This is the most celebrated beach in the country, a kilometre of golden grains where Sydney’s beautiful people come to bare it all. As well as the essential ingredients – booming surf, seagulls riding the breeze, the smell of sun-block – Bondi has a style all its own. This is see-and-be-seen territory, and nobody is ever too tanned, too thin or too muscled.
Bondi also has a vibrant café and restaurant culture. Campbell Parade, which runs along the back of the beach, is a near-continuous strip of outdoor cafes and gelato bars. There’s serious food territory too, with Sean’s Panaroma and the Icebergs Dining Room and Bar dishing out food every bit as glam as the view.
Stressed over beach-fashion burnout? Head one street back from the beach and you’ll find gorgeous streetwear, beachwear and funky designs for a new-look you. There’s Tuchuzy, where Kylie Minogue has been spotted checking out the racks, Bikini Island for surf-wear essentials, Purl Harbour for gorgeous hand-knits, Alfie's Shop for the Bondi street look and puf 'n stuf retro clothing for vintage everything.
Things to do!
* The Bondi to Bronte Walk Winding south from Bondi past sea-sculpted sandstone, the footpath takes you on a roller-coaster ride to Tamarama Beach – “Glamarama” to the locals - Bronte with refreshment stops and sparkling views all the way. Note the real estate – some of Sydney’s glossiest.
* Learning to surf with Let’s Go Surfing.
* Bondi Icebergs pool, especially when the waves are creaming over the breakwater.
* The silky gelato from Pompei’s, possibly Sydney’s finest.
* Sean’s Panaroma for milk-fed veal scallopine panfried with sage, pancetta and celeriac puree.
* Bondi Iceberg’s Dining Room and Bar for its lusty, luscious Italian menu served in Sydney’s spunkiest dining room overlooking the beach and ocean.

"We are Melburnians and enjoyed the sea change coming up to Sydney. Sydney has so much natural charm but its pretty hard to beat iconic Bondi. This building is specifically in Bondi North and looks south to Bondi beach. The local walks are interesting as well with a choice of the beach, cliff tops, the shops or just around the localaity."

"We stayed in two apartments, 5 nights in one and 1 for our final night. We stayed over for New Years eve ! Both apartments are ideally located for the beach and golf club (worth playing - excellent cliff top views) and buses direct to Sydney centre. The apartments themselves were clean, well equipped and very homely ! Both kitchens had every appliance, pots and pans and utensils known to man ! Thanks Liz for arranging our stay pretty much last minute and we would not hesitate in staying with you again ! Bruce, Gavin and Samantha (from the UK) !"

WENDY, USK WALES UK, DECEMBER 2011
"We had a great time at ECO Bondi Beach. The location was fantastic - not only was it a few minutes walk to the famous Bondi Beach but the convenience of the bus stop right out front that took us all the way into Circular Quay was excellent. The view from the apartment was mesmerising - watching the Bondi world pass by.
The apartment has all we needed for a family of four and we would not hesitate in recommending ECO Bondi Beach to anyone."
RICHARD, ADELAIDE, DECEMBER 2011
"The appartment is at a great location. Very close to the beach and restaurants and a good bus connection to Sydney center. It was less luxurous than we expected, but clean and quiet, good bed in the bedroom, the other one could have had a better mattress, kitchen is ok. 4 towels for 4 people for a 6 night stay was not enough, but when we asked for more this was serviced immediately. "

DEBORAH, MINNEAPOLIS, JULY 2011
"This property has everything someone needs on a getaway!
What I loved most was the convenience of public transport and also having the beach a stone's throw away. I would happily recommend this to anyone and what speaks even better is the fact I am coming to stay again in 1 month's time."
ANONYMOUS, JULY 2011
"Great location, only one block to the beach. Very clean and comfortable and the bus stop directly out the front was very convenient. The apartment had everything we could possibly want. Thanks Liz for a wonderful stay!"
SARAH, WARRNAMBOOL, JULY 2011
"Thanks Liz, was a pleasure to stay in your lovely apartment for two nights - wish I wasn't working and it could have been longer. So close to iconic Bondi Beach for a morning run, a short stroll to the finest cafes Bondi has to offer, city transport right outside, gorgeously decorated, comfy lounge and bed, beautifully clean facilities and a welcoming smile, home away from home - what more could you ask for? Thanks again, will be back!"
CAROLE, GOLD COAST, OCTOBER 2010
"Eco Bondi Beach is 100 m from North Bondi beach and right across the road from the bus stop. The buses run every 10 mins or so to Bondi Junction train station and takes about 15 mins to get there. There is a lovely coffee shop across the road, Bru with awesome coffee! Also across the road is a lovely little shop with fresh produce, organics and nice chaps running the shop. A lovely community of people to stay around. There are 2 walks from the beach One North around some streets to the cliff walk and the one South around to Tamarama Beach, both are fantastic, lots of steps so need a good fitness level. "
ROBYN, NEW ZEALAND, OCTOBER 2010
"We had such a good time - the flat was perfect for us and we felt so at home. And you really can't beat that location... beach, cafes, bars, restaurants, friendly locals, and even a gallery! I think I'll have to move to North Bondi... I'll miss those delicious sheets and doona covers."
CARL, SEPTEMBER 2010
"Although it was advertised as a one bedroom apartment there was sufficient room for myself,my husband and three adult daughters!Any query we had was attended to at once. We were given very helpful advise re transport etc. The bus terminus is across the road , the buses run late and start early. Multi journey tickets available at newsagents nearby. You can pay the taxi driver by credit card! I could go on and on. The only drawback we found was that Sydney is VERY expensive ( Sterling does not have a good exchange rate anywhere). But, we managed really well and had a wonderful time.Liz, the manager really put herself out to make our time there really memorable. Thank you Meryl"
MERYL, WEST YORKSHIRE, JUNE 2010
"Thank you so much for such a wonderfully relaxing weekend. Being so close to the beach, coffee, beach, buses and beach made for the perfect weekend escape. Highly recommend the sun bed!!! Great for sleeping on, reading on and watching the world go by! We will absolutly be back for a week here. Thanks again Sian and Tom "
SIAN & TOM, MARCH 2010
"We recently spent 5 nights at Liz's apartment. We found it to be very clean and well appointed. Liz is an extremely friendly and welcoming host. The apartment is situated very close to all amenities, and is approx 100 metres from the beach. It is only a short walk around to Bondi Beach shopping centre and the buses to the city stop just across the road from the apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would recommend the apartment to future visitors."
JOYCE, NEW ZEALAND, MARCH 2010
