Description of the Boone vacation cabin rental

This beautiful log cabin has an incredible view of Grandfather Mountain located in an upscale neighborhood on a one acre tract that still affords privacy and wooded grounds. Everything about this house is the best - from the mountain stone fireplaces, Orvis furniture, beautiful linens and hand made quilts, to the outside hot tub on the lower deck or hand-carved rocking chairs on the upper deck.

The three bedrooms each have their own mountain charm. Each large bedroom is on a separate floor with its own bath, beautiful mountain quilts, comfortable pillow-top mattresses, and best of all, a double window in each room that overlooks the property and view.

The living room offers a warm and cozy decor with rustic, but, elegant furniture in the log and chink interior. Imagine cuddling on the wrap-around sofa looking at the 30 foot hand stacked stone fireplace with a real fire burning. This large cathedral ceiling room is shared with the dining table that seats 8 and gourmet kitchen for family cooking. Or if you prefer more action go downstairs to the game room with arcade, 30" TV, Game Cube, and its own fireplace.

Of course, you could always go relax in the hot tub on the lower deck and watch it snow while you are viewing Grandfather Mountain. The upper deck is also wonderful with its hand-carved rocking chairs and a small dining table to eat outside.

The house has all the amenities and is complemented by the rich hardwood floors and pine cathedral ceilings. The neighborhood is quiet and private with nearby waterfall and many places to stroll. It is also near all tourist attractions and minutes to the ski slopes or shopping.

Spring Baseball Fever, March 26, 2008
By Pete Snell (Charlotte, NC)
Our son played against ASU this weekend and what a great getaway from the normal hotel room. Kitchen remarkably stocked, well done! Very clean!! Two things we would change; Hot tub could have been warmer, 104 not hot enough. Need dvd in living room. Oh by the way, UNCG swept the mountain men. Go Spartans

We enjoyed this house so much that we are dying to go back asap. Everything was thoughtfully done for the comfort of the guests. The view was stunning, the fireplace beautiful, the furniture the best, there was even gourmet coffee and cream for morning. Great house!
