Description of the Boone vacation cabin rental
Mountain Magic has lots to offer. From a lazy hammock in the yard, to a cozy fire in the fireplace. A cup of tea in the sun room will hit the spot. Take a walk around the property and enjoy the artistic old painted barn, which houses a few farm animals. For quiet time, the loft is spacious and quaint, it has a swinging chair, a dresser and a rocking chair. The kitchen has all you need for a home cooked meal, it is open to the great room, build a fire in the fireplace and watch a movie all at the same time. After the evening is up, the bathroom has a charming Jacuzzi tub, or sit in the hot tub on the deck and star gaze, either one is sure to hit the spot. The downstairs bedroom has a flat screen TV and a queen size bed. You might want to sit on the covered porch and enjoy the sounds of nature, while drinking that morning coffee. Also the deck, just off the sunroom would be a great place for grilling and lounging.

Great Spring Getaway!

I really enjoyed my stay at Mountain Magic - everything was just as described, if not better! It was great being able to travel with my dog; he loved the yard and all the hiking trails on the Blue Ridge Parkway. I'm hoping to be able to come back soon!

My husband and I stayed here with our two dogs this past week for a quick spring break getaway. Based on other reviews, I had high expectations, and my expectations were definitely met! This cabin had everything we could have wanted in a rustic getaway... it was remote, but there were still other houses around and it wasn't far from our daytime activities (rock climbing), stargazing from the hot tub, relaxing during the sunset in the yard while our dogs played, grilling our dinner on the nice grill, coffee during sunrise in the sunroom area, and of course, my favorite, a brand new 1 day old (huge) baby donkey! : ) We thoroughly relaxed and enjoyed our time at this cabin, and hope to one day build one just like it (yes, we stole decorating tips and layout ideas)! This was our dream place! Thanks for building it, and thanks for allowing us to stay!

Thank you for letting us stay in this wonderful cabin! The cabin is perfect and we couldn't have picked a better weekend because it snowed from the time we got there on Friday until we left on Sunday!! We can't wait to come back again! Connie was an added bonus to staying at this cabin because she was so helpful with everything!!! Couldn't have asked for a sweeter person!!!! Thank you again!!!

What a great place! This was one of our best vacations and much needed. Three days of total relaxation in a gorgeous setting and absolute perfect cabin....meticulously crafted and decorated with the finest details. If you want privacy, beautiful scenery, comfort and conveniences.....this is the place! Our favorite was the glassed-in back porch (with woodstove) which gives you a spectacular view. This place is just perfect - you will not want to leave!

My girlfriend and I were expecting a great house but wow! This place really took us by surprise. Everything about it was so nice and beautiful. It was super clean and obviously well taken care of. The hot tub was wonderful, the kitchen had all the pots and pans you needed, and the dining areas were perfect for the two of us. We really enjoyed the location of the rental as well, very close to Boone and not too far from Banner Elk. Connie was a dream to communicate with and is one of the few rental owners that I've dealt with that is willing to go above and beyond to make everything comfortable for you. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends and family and will be back in the future. Thanks so much again Connie!

We loved this place!!! Only thing you need to do is make sure you go to the grocery store before getting to the house and don't forget fire logs.....we had an amazing time and really hope to come back!!

Me and my girlfriend wanted to find something fun to do for a girls weekend. We decided to stay at Mountain Magic. It was exactly what we both needed. The cabin is very clean, adorable and the animals were a great touch! We decided that we would make Mountain Magic a annual trip for us. Mountain Magic Cabin is absolutely beautiful. Our stay at this cabin was the best vacation we have ever had. The cabin is comfortable, beautifully decorated, and the grounds and view are wonderful. Such an amazing, beautiful property! Love how rustic (and clean!) the cabin is! It has everything you need for a get away...it was perfect for our family weekend! The hot tub was incredibly clean and ready to use as soon as we arrived...you never know how hot tubs might turn out! Plus, it is the perfect distance away from everything we planned to see! Loved it!

Cozy and charming cabin

In short, we loved it! Connie was wonderful to work with and the cabin was so cozy and charming! From the moment, we.pulled into the private driveway, we were impressed. The cabin has everything you need- kitchen supplies, towels, extra blankets, shampoo, etc. The setting is very private and very cozy. My 2 year old daughter loved the donkeys and.goats on the property and the animals were super friendly and would come running over every morning to say hello. We had a fire in the outside fire pit, swung in the hammocks, and loved the sunroom. It's the perfect vacation spot and we'll definitely return. It's very close to boone and blowing rock, vineyards, shopping, the.blue ridge parkway, and tweetsie.

Wonderful cabin on private land

We stayed at the Mountain retreat with 2 adults and 2 dogs. The pictures on the website look great, but actually coming up the driveway and staying at the cabin surpassed expectations. The property and the interior is nicely done, feels like home, and the outside area is secluded and spacious, with great places to sit outside in the sun or shade. Peaceful to sit in the lounge chairs, listening to the waterfalls and watching the goats (1 baby!) and donkeys. Our dogs loved it, of course veruy curious about the goats and donkeys. Boone is only 15-20 min away, as are great hiking areas. Connie take great care of us, and was very helpful. We agree with all the previous reviews and will certainly hope to come again and encourage our friends to go.

Cozy and fun

Very nice and peaceful setting, cabin is cozy but modern with a sunroom, covered porch and deck to enjoy the mountain views. We loved feeding the goats and donkeys that live next door, taking scenic hikes through the hills and soaking in the hot tub. Close to Boone and area attractions, we would definitely stay again.

From the moment we pulled into the driveway until we left, we had an absolutely amazing stay at this wonderful cabin. Beautiful waterfall, shady hammock, relaxing hot tub, spectacular views, inviting rooms and more. We enjoyed ourselves so much, we plan to make it a yearly activity. In a word: magical.

This property was rented however the property manager assisted us in findiing another property in Zionville for our stay. We will be renting this property in the near future and loved our stay near Boone. This group is so helpful in finding a place to stay and helping us find things to do on our vacation! My husband, sister, and brother in-law went up over the Memorial Holiday weekend! What a joy it was when we arrived. Who better to great you than 3 billy goats and 2 donkeys. They were so friendly and so much fun to watch. We took our dogs (poodles) and they would go right up to the fence to greet them. Too cute! The cabin itself was wonderful! Clean, no problems a bit warm in the sunroom in the summer but, very comfortable to sit in. We will be back!

We loved this cabin! It was so homey and charming. The goats that live nearby are so sweet to watch. The hammock in the yard makes for a nice relaxing spot to nap. It was in the perfect location near Boone and other area attractions. Would definitly stay again!
