Bear creek offers a very secluded setting overlooking the creek, green branch. Located on a unique 78 acres with hiking trails, trout stream and waterfalls. Cabin offers a full size hot tub (seating for 6) on the covered porch along with rocking chairs and swing. Covered porch overlooks the creek, which you can see and hear.

Guests are able to sit around their own private campfire ring with seating and enjoy a meal at their picnic table. Amenities include a wood burning stone fireplace (complimentary wood included), fully equipped kitchen, wifi, basic cable package, washer/dryer, all linens, a large gas grill (gas provided) and many other amenities.

Our guests enjoy exploring the 78 acres, it's trails, creeks with cascading waterfalls, picnic area and foot-bridges along the creek and many guests even take in some trout fishing.

The bear creek cabin is decorated with a bear theme and offers various shades of green/natural colors. It is construction with western red cedar 'real logs'. The cedar logs are hand-hewn and the furnishings inside the cabin are accented with gnarly wood character, hand-crafted from montana lodge pole pine logs, one of a kind furniture.

On the main level there is a large great room which features the wood burning stone fireplace, 42' flat screen tv, wifi, dvd, sleeper sofa (queen), loveseat and high vaulted ceilings. Adjacent to the great room is the dining room - unique log table/chairs - seats 4 - we also have a folding table and 4 chairs in the closet for larger groups. There are sliding glass doors that lead from the great room to the covered porch with rocking chairs, swing, and full size hot tub (seats 6). The hot tub even features a small waterfall.

Should you decide to cook a few meals at the cabin, the large well equipped spacious kitchen is great, there is also a washer/dryer area and under counter lighting.

Also on the main level is the master bedroom which features a king size bed and the one of a kind log pine furniture as well as full bathroom which can be accessed from the bedroom or from the kitchen area.

Upstairs guests will find an open loft which has a daybed/trundle which is basically two twin beds, they can be placed together or separate, a full bathroom and a second bedroom with a queen size bed.

Create those romantic settings with our dimmer controlled lighting, which you will find in each room.

This unique property is just minutes from the scenic blue ridge parkway, close enough to boone and all of it's attractions, yet offers the privacy, relaxation, amenities, and beautiful setting that most folks are looking for. We are conveniently located just one mile off of hwy. 421 in the deep gap area, located just 5 minutes from the scenic blue ridge parkway.

Our location is centrally located between several towns, boone being the closest, just 15 minutes via hwy. 421. Blowing rock is within 25 minutes and you can either take the blue ridge parkway or hwy. 421, the 105 bypass and then hwy. 321. The town of w. Jefferson, which is now known for it's great shops and art galleries is also about a 25 minute drive via hwy. 421 & then hwy. 221. The town of wilkesboro, famous for merlefest and the apple festival is just 15 minutes away via hwy. 421.

By not being right in town guests can experience the peacefulness and serenity that our 78 acres offers, which is why most folks come to the mountains and yet they can also be just a short drive from the various nearby towns. Our location is ideal for most attractions, restaurants, area festivals, skiing, canoeing, tubing, horseback riding, golf and much more.
