Don't miss this exciting Winter offer to enjoy an Escape Vacation in the High Country,in our luxury condo in the gated community of Echota, 7 miles south of Boone, on highway 105 S, We are only minutes away from the four major ski resorts that are in the area. Hawks Nest resort has snow tubing and is only about 7 minutes down the road from our condo.
No matter what your reason for coming to the High Country, you are only minutes away from all the activities, Appalachian State University,Lees McCrae College, gourmet restaurants, shopping, antiquing, golfing, hiking, etc.
While you are enjoying your morning coffee and contemplating the day's activities, you have fantastic views of the birds and the mountainside and the SUPER VIEW of the Profile of Grandfather Mountain. All the SPECTACULAR SCENERY can be enjoyed from the swivel chairs in the livingroom, the master bedroom, or the lovely private deck. Plan your daily activities, skiing, shopping, hiking, antiquing, golfing,fishing, or just relaxing and getting away from it all. We are only minutes away from ALL of the activities the area has to offer.
Our two bedroom,two bathroom condo was newly furnished in 2006, and is street level with NO STAIRS. While sitting on the deck you are at Nature's Doorway with the many birds who fly among the trees and feed from the feeders.
If the evenings are chilly, you have a cozy gas fireplace to warm you. There is a TV, VCR, and DVD player in each of the bedrooms as well as the livingroom. There is internet in the master bedroom and free WiFi internet use in the clubhouses. Many guests have commented on the fantastically COMPLETE KITCHEN that has all the items you have in your own kitchen.
The great hiking paths are only minutes away as well as all the other activities of the High Country such as skiing, birding, live theater, shopping, antiquing, etc.
There are two major supermarkets only seven minutes from the condo as well as numerous restaurants, wine and cheese shoppes, pharmacy, art galleries. Tanger Outlet Center, Appalachian State University, Lee McCrae College, Blowing Rock,and Banner Elk, are also closeby.
Our guests have full use of the clubhouse with its LARGE INDOOR POOL, HOTTUB, AND FITNESS CENTER. You may also use the clubhouse up on the Ridge with its clubhouse and amenities. There are two ponds on the property for catch and release fishing and also a nature preserve across the road with wonderful hiking paths.

Our condo is located in the beautiful, safe, gated community of Echota, on route 105 S, just minutes from Boone,Appalachian State University, Lees McCrae College, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis, the Mast General Store, Moses Cone Mansion, Tanger Factory Outlet, the Tweetsie Railroad, and the Blue Ridge Parkway with its many hiking trails and beautiful overlooks. There are four ski resorts in the area as well as numerous golf courses, hiking trails, all types of shopping and wonderful restaurants.

Our condo has games, videos, magazines, books, for the enjoyment of both children and adults. There is high speed internet access in the condo, but you must bring your own laptop. Now there is also WiFi in the clubhouse.

• Deposits: 50% of the total rental amount is required to make your reservation online. If your arrival date is within the next 30 days, your full amount will be due to process your reservation. We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover cards. The balance of your rental amount is due at check-in.
   
• Other Fees: There is a $60 cleaning fee. Bed linens, towels, soaps, shampoo, dish detergent, paper products, etc. are included in the rental rate. You can use your credit card for the full and completely refundable $300 security deposit or buy a Peace of Mind Protection Plan for $35. Purchasing POM Plan covers theft or damage to the unit as a result of your inadvertent acts or omissions and replaces the security deposit.

 Wonderful Time in Boone, June 28, 2009

My aunt and I decided that we needed a quiet getaway. That is exactly what we experienced but even more!!! The condo exceeded our expectations, it was immaculate, comfortable and well stocked. We spent a day at the lovely indoor pool and jaccuzi and the next day we found board games that we enjoyed playing. Mostly I enjoyed eating my meals on the balcony with the spectacular view of Grandfather mountain. The only negative thing was the air conditioning unit was broken. However, we tried to make the best our short stay. We both said that we wish our stay could have been longer. The last day as we were loading up the car, two ladies walked by and told us " Ya'll be sure to come back!!!" That really made us feel welcome.

We had a great experience with this Condo, location is easy to find and just few minutes from Boone, NC where you can find everything. The clubhouse was a little drive from the condo, but it had a nice warm pool, great working out area, better than many hotels I have been. The Condo had everything for your entertainment, I could not get the fireplace working but it was not needed. We had a late check in and they left the keys in a secure place for us. I will come back again.
