Excellent location and great for families

My family and I stayed at the farmhouse for several days. It was close enough to bigger cities (like Rome & Utica), but it was far enough away to be enjoyable. The bed was comforable and I was amazed at how clean the house was. It was spotless. You can walk around all day in white socks and they are still white at the end of the day! The updates were done with skill and the house was very comforable. The family that owns the property were very, very welcoming and made us feel like we were part of the family. There's a waterfall at the bottom of the hill (off of Cheese Factory Road), and it was quite a sight. We didn't have snowmobiles, but this location would be perfect if we did. Overall, the house was stocked with everything from pots and pans in the kitchen, to tons of towels in the bathroom, to even a washer and dryer. We loved the house, and we will be trying to rent the house again when we come back. To the Munns' - Thank you! from the Parkins' Family

The farmhouse was just what we were looking for. It gave us versatility in the number of family members and friends coming in and out to stay with us, and it provided easy access to the snowmobile trail system. The house has been renovated to provide you with all the amenities you would have in your own home. The renovation has resulted in beautiful woodwork and very reminiscent character of the era in which it was built. The snowmobiling was excellent as evident with the 100 to 150 miles each day. With the farmhouse, it provided us with flexibility to ride and choose when we wanted to come back to have a meal and relax. It was a fantastic week! We would like to thank James for his hospitality and helpful advice on the house and the trail system.

Great House!

My family and I rented this house for my wedding in the Old Forge Area. We loved the view from the porch, the spacious rooms, kitchen and bathrooms! It had a great old feel to it, with many modern updates. Coffee pot, dish washer and many many seats for a large gathering (we had 10 at one point). The only thing missing was a toaster :) You are not far from Old Forge (about 35 minutes via Moose River Road- a great experience for someone who likes to drive the winding roads). Overall we loved the house. The farm noise in the early am was the only thing not perfect and even that was part of the overall experience. The kids loved visiting the cows, and seeing all the barn cats at play. This was a great family week for us! Thanks so much!

The farmhouse is just about the cleanest vacation place I've stayed.....ever. This includes hotels, condos, houses, etc. The attention to detail inside with the renovation shows a lot of thought and hard work. The main bathroom is spacious, newly renovated, very very clean. The kitchen, newly renovated, is spacious and very very clean. Driving up to the farmhouse I was a bit concerned as they have not renovated the outside (this is in the plans)....however, when I walked inside, I knew this would be a special place, and it was. If I ever go to Boonville again, I will definitely stay at the farmhouse.....hope you all do too.

Just came back from our stay and we had a wonderful time. The house was extremely kid friendly, and even had games for them to play with. Was very inpressed with the cleanliness, and the large rooms. The washer/dryer/dishwasher def came in handy! Can't wait to go back! James Sr was an excellent guide too!!

We just got back from a stay at this home. It was a perfect house. Bedrooms are the perfect size and we were just fine with only 1.5 bathrooms. Kitchen is nice and fully stocked. We had to trailer our snowmobiles to Timberview, due to lack of snow, but we were only 5 miles away. Spent New Years Day at the Boonville Bowl a Rama and had a fun time. Looking forward to returning when there is snow!!

We enjoyed our snowmobile vacation. This was just the type of house we were looking for. It is right near the trails. It was very spacious. There also is a great hill on the side of the house for the kids to sleigh ride. The property manager James was extremely helpful as a snowmobile guide and anything else we needed to make our vacation more enjoyable. Thank you James!!
